Well, now that they've ran out of Eberron material, it seems that unnecessary subsystems are back in the menu bajs!
They even got reused DMG rules for dealing with the crew.
That can be used to grok some Spelljammer homebrew, but its not like it couldn't be done already, without these padding rules and even a little better...

Wizards decided to permanently deny us our Giff adventurers and shove some bootleg elephant crap in our general direction...
Vedalken are absurd, Simic can use Medium armor competently (1st time in this edition) and the rest are absurd meh, like a 8 feet 400 pounds medium race...

D&D 3.5 and Pathfinder / Pathfinder 2nd edition playtest

No thread has popped up so I thought that it was about time to do so. Here it is.
Its a 4.5E with some drops of 5E, 2E and a few new ideas.
I think it was a missed oportunity, there were very good ideas that were lost in senseless math bloat. And the lack of undead creation spells is bizarre considering the number of feats/spells/class stuff that deals with controlling them, and even then, the control seems to be a copy of 5E's limited undead control.

Well, suddenly official Eberron campaign setting by Wizards, albeit pdf only. Anyone got it and is willing to comment on the lore updates or abusive mechanics? Also the races described there are the same as today's UA?

even Exalted might not be able to resemble the power levels displayed by Ravnica and a whole plane of "city"? how one will play D&D there in any way resembling the normal way?) and official Eberron for DM Guild, they give us these crumbs...
As always, they have to crap on Medium armor, with warforged being limited in the same way as others. This also makes a Hexblade warforged able to dump dex completely, and a Heavy armor proficiency will increase his AC by 3, which is the equivalent of 3 ASI dumped on dex (now you just need to spend one on con and the other on Tough and failing dex saves won't matter to you anyways).

EDIT: Centaurs are kinda ok but Minotaurs were UBERLY NERFED. So the nerfed arcana remains.

The domain from Mearls' Twitch stream is out there.
EDIT: Order domain is basically "Fuck that guy specifically" the domain. It is interesting and really reaps out nice benefits when you have few or a single target to focus.

D&D 5e / Warlock spell+invocation interaction

Just to be clear, I've scoured forums and the sage advice website and found no info on this.
Considering the way Thirsting blade is written, would it trigger on the Attack action granted by the Haste spell? Considering that Haste says "Attack (one weapon attack only)... action" and the invocation says "you can attack with your pact weapon twice, instead of once, whenever you take the attack action", would the specificity of requiring a pact weapon trump the general effect of the Haste spell?
My brain is giving up on me and I can't seem to find a reason for this combination not to work, please guys, point me to where I've made a mistake.
