Just getting stuff translated from my offline workspace to my online sheet. Should be updated fully soon with the remainder of my equipment, which I believe is mostly what's missing other than background/personality info.

I think I'm gonna rework some of my maneuvers, since there's no point in focusing on tanking when we've got Phaedrus too.

Genius, you said 10% sounded fair for a Dependants flaw, right?

Anybody want to work with me on creating a back story for the party?  I'm thinking my character has ties to [nearby Dwarven settlement], but left to follow the Wayward Path (organization of explorers/storytellers, where he gets the Teleportation abilities from).  He still has a family back home, and sees adventuring as a way to support them.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Sterros might have ventured to seek the Grand Library in hopes of ancient wisdom and arcane secrets, only to be disappointed that there is little to no arcana held within its tomes. He still would have been intrigued by the countless tales of heroes and adventure, though they don't directly aid him in his personal studies. At the very least, a notebook with endless pages would intrigue him as a wonderful resource for copying spells into, if he could just apply the magic towards use as a spellbook.

After looking everything over, use 10% of your wealth by by level. If that gets to be too much or too little, we can reevaluate later. Basically your dependants might fall on hard times and need a little more or find a way to better support themselves and need a little less.

:cheers So, I didn't abandon you guys - just went on vacation for a couple weeks. I'll have my sheet up in a day or two. For general purposes though, assume straight classed human Walker in the Wastes focused on razing and summoning. So feats like Dustcrafter, Controlled Raze (so I don't torch you lot), Ongoing Storm, and Fields of Waste. Basically, that allows me to turn an area into difficult terrain and then let my pets charge across it anyway. Feats are here if anyone wants to take a look.

Magic items I'm less sanguine on. Will probably be asking for suggestions there.

On that note... what's the best giant-type corpse I could acquire, and for how much?

Could also steal an idea from Phae and purchase a Mekillot, if those exist in RHoD.

Are you looking for a mount or a combat creature?

More combat creature - it's kind of how he's going to fight a lot. Let the wastes work for him and all. Have to figure out how to heal the construct though. Might need to adjust the homebrew or add in repair damage spells.

Undead or construct? Using walker in the waste template?

Anything special you'd like? I'm tempted to give you a minotaur or some such. Maybe an ettin. Not sure how strong of a corpse I should give you. Currently looking at nothing higher than CR 8 at the high end, but things are all over the board.

If it interests you, I'd be willing to work with you on using the hivenest template from dungeonscape. I've always loved that template but never really had a chance to use it.

I don't actually know the template. Let me take a look.

As for the big hitter, he loses all special attacks, including stuff like the ettin double swings. So possibly an animal with multiple attacks like a tiger would be better.

If it loses special attacks, wouldn't it then also lose Pounce? It'd still be deadly once it gets up to an enemy, but it loses some of its thunder all the same.

It does. Was more thinking of the full attack. And there's ways to get it back, eventually.

I'm game for pretty much anything add long as it make makes sense and isn't crazy powerful. If its a tiger you want, we can work something out. If you want a giant, we can figure it out too.

So, lets make this sinple: Ettin, girallon, gray render, dire tiger, stone or hill giant would be the short list of requests. Any of them should be fine for my character. I'll be themeing them as a giant pile of wasteland under the control of the walker.

I took a look at the hivenest monster, and while it's a cool template, i'm not sure it would fit the character. Also, the dustform template interacts really badly with swarms - it's broken one way or another, depending on how it's ruled.

Combat i'll mostly be hanging back and summoning. Means I need to go off and read a guide or two there. Whee :D

I didn't mean to have the swarm gain the dust form template, but to inhabit the dust form creature. How about stone giant? Use 100+ (hd*50) as cost for corpse.

Added to the bottom of the character sheet. The one with feats is what I'll be using in the game.
