Well, if I did try tactics on myself, then suddenly my own initiative would equal my own initiative -1 (N=N-1). I'd say generally yes, you are your own ally. Don't try to pull it with White Raven Tactics though.

I'm also wondering how/if Hostile Empathic Transfer would work over his collective... Powers with the [Healing] subdisipline all count as network powers, but I'm not sure if either version of this counts (it isn't labeled explicity... but I'm not sure if anything else is either...) If it does... he could ignore Spell Resistance and immunity to Mind-Affecting, making it a rather nasty attack form to use on enemies that he's already forced into his collective via Unwilling Participant.
Also... could he use this to heal someone else? Typically, vitalists can redirect all healing to anyone else within their collective. So I think this should work regardless of whether it counts as a network power or not. (But please let me count it as a network power :P )

So it looks like the first DSP book on psionics didn't include cantrips/orisons/whatever they're called, and the later one did. So should vitalists now get Detect Psionics as a cantrip like it looks like all the other psionic classes do?
If so... I could try and identify those items...
I guess getting detect magic/psionics at will is a Psion thing... not a Psionics thing...

Well... one of my archetypes (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/psionics-unleashed/classes/vitalist/archetypes/dreamscarred-press/sadist) traded off the Knacks that I get at 1st level, aside from those from my Method... So no... I can't. :p

But they are little more than not-yet-hungry zombies at this point who have been shambling behind you guys mindlessly.We had discussed feeding them to the rat brood. If we have an inkling that they might get hungry... it would make that decision a lot easier. :P
And of course, left unattended, they will eventually get hungry.

Well f*ck... So you can cast it but have no ranks, and I have ranks but can't cast it... A Cloak of the Hedge Wizard (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/c-d/cloak-of-the-hedge-wizard) (Divination) gives detect magic at will, as well as some other stuff.
