Ok so I did a search and did not find a single thread regarding HeroClix.

I have wanted to engage in some discussion of this game system because it is highly complex and rewards Optimization to the Nth degree; IMO, when two forces are presented at the start of the game one of the players has already won - rolling is mostly a formality.

Since the game is so open, and I don't know if there are any players or theorycrafters on THIS website, I decided to make this thread.

I will artificially steer the initial conversation in somewhat of a direction; make a good 400 point modern age team and let's go from there.

Any players?

Just to post another neat thing we are trying...

A Modern Age legal Team at 300 points that is designed to be "terrible."

Captain America in Ice 68
Weapon X in Ice 72
ggG005r Uatu The Watcher - 50 points - with Full Gauntlet - 90 points
Donald Blake - 33 points
Tank Turret with no Super Strength Figs - 2 points
White Kryptonite - 10 points
Double Secret Avengers ATA on Blake+Captain America=5 points each=10 points
285

The team cannot attack for 4 turns.  The team has virtually no powers that are useful at all for 4 turns.  If your opponent chooses the Street Fighter map Guile's Stage - they will probably never let Weapon X or Captain America ever break out.  Then they trivially deal with your team 1 figure at a time.
