Group 2, OOC

Just as a notice, "Gate Booth" is just what it is called. It's just a ticket / passport booth. Not an actual gate. You're still about 15 minutes from the city proper, in the outskirts.

Did we say some/all of us were going to start knowing each other? I know GS mentioned that GruGruk and Grey could start out knowing each other, which is fine with me (I like it if some PCs have previous connections rather than having to jam them all together at the beginning). So I'm going to assume that those two are together, at least.

You notice that the area is quite. Looking around you realize that there are others who are as odd in appearance as you, you took note of this when the little girl did, but now the others in the Gate Booth have noticed as well, and they are quite nervous.

Quite what?  Or is that a typo for quiet?

I don't pee messages into the snow often , but when I do , it's in Cyrillic with Fake Viagra.  Stay frosty my friends.

Yeah, I'd kind of figured that they'd have worked together a few times before. If you'd like, we can work out the details of their past history.

Okay, so I'm typo-rific today. That's the 4th I've had to edit-fix. I still think having typed "Tried" as "Tired" was the worst one thus far.

Doesn't really make sense for me to know anyone else but I'm socially inept so perhaps I'll just sort of bungle my way into the party.

It might make sense for Fina to know Korth. She's resistant to fire, but enamored of it. The nuclear dragon's heat could intrigue her, even if it actually hurts. Maybe she wants to know why. :P

That would make sense. Feel free to work it in. I'm currently engaged in critically fumbling a persuasion check to introduce myself.

"Um, excuse me, uh sir. I overheard... that is, you said "Korth loves to track." Now I don't know why you would be, as I've only just arrived here but, well, were you talking about me? You see, my name is Korth and..."

Dat font hurts my eyes a little ...

Enough to change it? I was going for "oozing the incandescent heat of the atom" and perhaps I got a little too close.

Is this better? Or worse?

More reason for our characters to know each other. We're the only ones who don't get headaches when we talk.

What, Korth? No problem whatsoever. It was a helpful hook to start things off.

Yeah, it kind of all worked out. Shouldn't be a problem, the dogs'll mostly be commanded as a group or left to their training. They'll normally just be left with the command to defend me.

I guess I missed this part of the description. BAD ME! *smack*
Okay, the responsible party has been punished.

The Gate Booth is a pavilion. It has three walls and a roof. It is about 50ft 'deep', 25ft tall, and 40ft wide. Thusly, you are not currently in the rain.

Considering this stuff going on was all originally planned for mid-game stuff for the other group, thus the better job of binding them together than you lot, I am quite happy to see everyone so well introduced :)

I, uh, did lower the levels of things, and such, from what I'd been planning for them.

Yes, this group had less binding, because the events were intended for people who already knew one another. And you lot decided you all knew one another. (Albeit in two groups. That, thanks to your naming, were quickly introduced.)  :clap

Hey, I'm still waiting for when your four canines all shake the rain off on all those civilians.  :smirk

I wonder how many of them would even say anything? ... I guess since I'm 'playing' them, I shouldn't have to wonder....
