Mercutio started out in life as a... less than reputable young man. As the young son of a harlot, it was lying and petty larceny, but as he grew into adulthood this "blossomed" into confidence scams, robbery, and finally... piracy. Although he never learned to swim, and knew nothing of sailing, he was welcomed aboard by the crew of the Salty Dogfish for his skill with a flute and talent at scoping out marks while nosing around shore.

He always had a soft spot for children, though, especially obviously disadvantaged ones (as they reminded him of himself and his friends when he was growing up). This eventually proved to be his downfall as a pirate after his mates had accidentally intercepted a group of orphans on their way to a new island orphanage as hostages. Seeing as no one was interested in paying a bounty for them, his fellows wanted to throw them overboard, but he himself would have none of that. After voicing his opinion strongly, he was unceremoniously thrown overboard himself, and nearly drowned. If not for the timely intervention of a wandering sea elf, seeing a kin in need, he certainly would have. Along with his new friends, they snuck onboard that night, helped the young ones onto lifeboats, then set the Salty Dogfish on fire as they rowed away. However, his memories of this near-death experience have left him with a lifelong phobia of deep water ever since.

This marked a dramatic turn in his life, as he found himself lost at sea with a boatload of children, haunted by the memories of his past. Eventually after making landfall, he made his way to the nearest temple, which happened to be to Bahamut, and renounced his former life, pledging himself to the service of the platinum dragon. To prove his dedication, he was tasked to help retake a town in the Plane of Radiance, the source of all light in the multiverse, from the forces of Darkness which sought to plunge all of the planes into an eternal night. After succeeding in their battle, Mercutio was rewarded for his valor in battle with a medal, and the "embrace of Bahamut" (transformation into a dragonborn). Then his battalion, acting on intelligence gained from the enemy's encampent, decided to travel to the Domain of Dread, as they though that the attack had originated from there, and they sought to end the threat at its source.

Of course... this proved to be folly, as Ravenloft is a prison world of despair. After months of fumbling around at a loss to identify any specific foes which might have masterminded the attacks on the Plane of Radiance, and under constant attacks by various denizens of the dark, most of the troops numbers had fallen, and those that were left disbanded to seek out their own places (or escapes) from this dreary world...

Although charismatic and boisterous on the surface, Mercutio is plagued with a deep-seated inferiority complex due to his childhood and disreputable past. This leads him to overcompensate via acts of bravado, bragging, lying, and responding to dares and other foolishness. He is also often preoccupied with his own thoughts, leaving him less aware of his current surroundings than he should be. His faith in Bahamut had helped ameliorate this somewhat, but being "forsaken" in Ravenloft has shaken this faith, and again left him unsteady in his faith in both himself and his deity, although this isn't something he'd ever admit to anyone.

  Zero Wolf appears as a golden-eyed, midnight-black haired smaller man with sharp fingernails. In his hybrid form, he has a black bird's head. In animal form, he appears a tiny black-headed sparrow.

  Zero Wolf, as part of the Wild Union, has fiercely defended the wildness of the Beastlands against those who try to destroy it. Along with his pack of twelve other Wylders, they have sabotaged a number of mining camps and poacher camps. Some of these have resulted in the death of those with no empathy for the wilderness.
  While scouting ahead of his pack, a blighter who slipped into the woods from depths of the vile plane of Hades through a gap in the planes. While hidden, the blighter clawed forth, with a black skeletal hand, a ragged gash in time. Zero Wolf was suddenly sucked through the hole, just before it collapsed, and was thrust onto a distant plane.
  After a year of scavenging in a black, ragged pine forest, he discovered where he was... Ravenloft.

Riek is a failed pirate who joined a kalashtar force whose main objective was to liberate riedran people from the Inspired. They seemed to succeed when he and the others were scattered across the multiverse due to reality rifts opened by the destruction of a planar portal.

Riek’s adventuring life began when he was only 14. He was na orphan and grew up in the streets of Cliffscrape, south of the Lhazaar Principalities. It all began when a pirate captain offered him a spot in his ship, The Allenthian. He would help the cook, clean the decks, and, more importantly, learn how to be a true pirate. But his first trip as a sailor ended in a shipwreck.

His almost lifeless body was found on a beach in Lorghalan Isle by a kalashtar soldier. The soldier, Balanish, took the boy back to his encampment and cared for his wounds with the help of a kalashtar cleric friend, Nadari. Riek woke up two days later and came to know both his saviors, but he could not go back to mainland.

The kalashtars in Lorghalan Isle were an organized military force. They gathered around a great kalashtar warrior called Huilek who intended to invade Sarlona, end the Inspired tirany over the poor people of Riedra and save their kalashtar brothers who were isolated in Adar.

Two years back Huilek found a huge cave in the southern beach of Lorghalan Isle. It was inhabited by evil sea creatures, the reason why the pirates avoided it at all cost. But Huilek took over the cave with the help of his brothers and sisters in order to turn it into a forward base. That base would serve as a place for the other kalashtars to gather before launching the attack against Sarlona. Soon after the long battle, Huilek sent messengers everywhere to spread the word of his military initiative, but only kalashtars should know of its existance.

Balanish secretly kept Riek in his tent. He wanted to heal his wounds then take him back to Cliffscrape. But his plan fizzled when Riek was found by another soldier. They took the boy their commander and Huilek decided that the boy could not leave the island until they lauched the attack, but he was free to stay with the troops as long as Balanish and Nadari were responsible for him. Riek had nothing to come back to, so he stayed without a single complaint.

A few days after the commander’s decision, Riek was put to work polishing armors, fixing and cleaning boats, etc. And in his spare time he learned how to read and about the kalashtar’s ways of life. And it was Kolat, a kalashtar sargeant, who saw potential in Riek.

The kid had an innate psionic field the others ignored, but that called Kolat’s attention. It was different from the kalashtar’s field, but, with a few changes in their techniques, Kolat could teach the boy how to use it effectively. With the commander’s permission, Riek’s psychic trainning began when he was only 15.

It took two whole years, but Riek’s trainning was complete a little before the attack. Balanish, Nadari and Kolat said goodbye to the kid, but they were happy when he was found hiding in one of the ships’ hold. The commander wanted to send him back. This is not his fight, he said. But they needed every help available, so Riek travelled with the kalashtar fleet to Sarlona. The kalashtar fleet battled the Inspired armies and the invasion was successful until they got to the empire’s capital.

The kalashtar army, reinforced by the Adarian forces, invaded the city and their numbers were quickly diminishing, but they managed to get into the emperor’s palace. Their main goal, destroying the Opal Ring, the psyonic artifact that brought the quori into Eberron, was withing reach. Riek was there when the last platton breached the throne room doors and he fought alongside the kalashtar until the portal exploded. They rejoyced for a second, but soon vanished as the ring’s explosion ripped their plane’s membrane. The rifts took them by surprise and the remaining force was spread out at the multiverse.

Tossed into the sea when he was born, Kwah-Yah could only count on his instincts to survive. Miraculously, he survived the trials, and managed to survive at sea, hunting like a true sea predator. One day, though, he was captured by slave traders that were sailing on the region, and caught a glimpse of the curious creature. Naive, he fell to the bait, and was fished up to the deck. There, he was shackled, and brought to auction. In auction, he was sold to a gladiatorial ring, where he was pitted against all manners of unusual creatures. There, he honed his natural ferocity and abilities even further, and even met some strange bedfellows. A Gnoll Barbarian taught him some of the techniques from his tribe, and he absorbed eagerly, as he was already filled with a natural penchant for bursts of incredible rages. One day, the opportunity of escape came, though, and he took it gladly. Before he left, he snapped the neck of the slave owners, and freed the other slaves. Thereafter, he went into the wilds. He knew better than to try and blend in with the city folk, who he knew would only see him as an abomination and nothing more. In the wilds, at least, he felt he could wander freely, as the forest creatures were no match for him, and he could live as he had always lived before slavery. But, mistaken for an evil abomination, the Rangers and Druids of those glades set their sight upon him, and hunted him down. Cornered, he raged at them, but couldn't win. Luckily for him, by then they had realized their mistake, and saw that he wasn't evil, but merely misguided. They took him in, despite his appearance, and thaught to him their ways. Being naturally strong, but not as wise or level-headed, the path of the Ranger was more fitting, and he learned how to track and to handle the wild beasts. Even though he had lived in the wild his whole life, they still could show him much more knowledge about it than he thought possible. They thaught him how to read, and how everything else worked. But, that was not to last for long. The forest caught on fire after a Red Dragon moved there, and he had to flee, leaving the others behind. With nowhere else to go to, he went back to the city where he was once a slave, but he was no longer recognized there. Not knowing how else to survive, he signed up as a Gladiator again, and with his new skills and ability, quickly rose to be the undefeated champion. But he grew tired of gladiatorial life. He wanted to roam free, and with his newfound riches, he could do so. He equipped himself as well as he could, and went on to find his path of glory. Wanting to be the best, he found an adventurer's group that was composed of folks as weird as he was. Monstrous beings of all kinds, of all alignments, and there they went on adventurer's together. He learned to wield and operate the most strange of equipment, and became familair with the everchanging nature of day to day adventuring, and matured very much after that. But one day, once again he was to be captured, for they tried to breach into a Illithid enclave, and were defeated. Once again made a slave, and once again made to fight for his life. They didn't took his equipment. Said he was too weak to defeat them even if he had all of it. They encouraged him to fight even bigger, fiercer beasts than ever before, and he grew hard of heart and soul. He began to draw more and more on his bestial nature, and to insist on more and more brutal tactics. The Illithids were very impressed at how well he could impress a crowd. He was entitled to benefits other slaves didn't have, he was even beggining to enjoy somethings he never could have before. His nature was being twisted, corrupted, and he knew that... But he also knew that there was no escape. Or at least he thought so. One day, strange mists filled the room where he was staying, and he fell asleep. When he woke up, he was in Ravenloft, even though it took a while for him to realize it. And there he fought his way to Darkon, where he became familiar with the strange laws that govern that realm, and tried to gain the favor of Azalin Rex, who he knew to have the same desire as him to escape from that dreadful realm. For as much as his heart had became twisted and corrupted, he still did not fell wholly to evil, and he didn't want to, though he felt the pull of the dark, much more than he felt that of the light.

Zulketev's appearance changes as the seasons, based upon his mood for the day, though he typically appears with short stark white hair, and bright blue eyes.  His skin is tan and supple.  His short stature as well as his long face and pointed ears causes others to mistake him for an elf if they don't look too closely.  Still, he often wears a hooded cloak to ensure there is no trouble from the more ignorant denizens trapped in this realm.

Zulketev was once a bright pupil of a druid circle in the forests of Greyhawk.  After helping some passing adventurers defeat a cult of demon summoners, he lost patience with their disrespect of nature.  He remembers only throwing his spear; he cannot recall if it struck its target or not.  He awoke in a forest clearing shrouded in mist.

• Racial Skills: Killoren have a +2 racial bonus on Handle Animal and Survival checks.
• Cold Iron Anathema (Su): Killoren have a difficult time wielding weapons made of cold iron. Killoren take a –2 penalty on any attack roll they make with a cold iron weapon or a weapon made only partially out of cold iron, such as a cold iron spear or a bow firing cold iron arrows.
• Manifest Nature’s Might (Su): Killoren are forever bound to the raw forces of nature itself, manifesting this bond even in their physical form. A killoren can only manifest one aspect of nature’s might at a time. Each morning as the sun rises, a killoren spends 10 minutes in quiet meditation, filling her spirit with the aspect of nature that is most needed for her current tasks. Once a killoren chooses an aspect, she manifests that aspect until the next morning, when she chooses again which aspect to manifest. Many killoren favor one aspect over the others and rarely choose to manifest one of the other two aspects.
   Aspect of the Ancient: While manifesting the aspect of the ancient, a killoren embodies the deep and ancient secrets of nature itself. With this bond to nature’s secret lore, a killoren gains a racial bonus on Knowledge (nature) checks equal to her Hit Dice and gains an additional +2 bonus on saving throws against enchantment effects. This bonus stacks with the killoren’s normal racial bonus on saving throws against enchantment effects. While a killoren manifests the aspect of the ancient, her hair turns white and her eyes turn to the color of a blue summer sky.
   Aspect of the Destroyer: Many races revere nature for its power to destroy, but none more so than a killoren manifesting the aspect of the destroyer. Once per hour (up to a maximum number of times per day equal to the character’s Charisma bonus, minimum 1), a killoren manifesting the aspect of the destroyer can make a special smite attack that deals extra damage to the foes of nature. When making this smite attack, a killoren adds her Charisma bonus to her attack roll and deals an extra 1 point of damage per Hit Die. This smite attack works only against aberrations, constructs, humanoids, oozes, outsiders, and undead. If a killoren accidentally smites a creature that is not one of the creature types listed above, the smite has no effect, but the ability is still used up for that hour and counts against the total uses per day. While a killoren manifests the aspect of the destroyer, her hair and eyes turn a deep, lusterless black; many find the gaze of a killoren destroyer’s coal-black eyes to be unnerving.
   Aspect of the Hunter: The hunt affects nearly every aspect of nature and claims a place of great prominence and importance in the cycle of life. A killoren manifesting the aspect of the hunt is bound to nature’s ancient tradition of the hunt, and her senses sharpen to an amazing degree. While manifesting the aspect of the hunt, a killoren gains a +2 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, Move Silently, and Spot checks, and a +2 racial bonus on initiative checks. While a killoren manifests the aspect of the hunter, her hair and eyes turn a deep forest green, and her skin tone becomes a deeper brown than when manifesting one of the other aspects.
