   When cast this spell creates a disembodied hand that will search through as many books or scrolls within the range of the spell as it can. The hand can search 100 pages of book or scrolls per minute. The hand searches the books and scrolls for bookworms, and when it finds them, the hand attacks relentlessly. When it attacks it will kill one bookworm per round. The spell cannot be used for any other purpose or set its attack on any other type of foe. This spell does not reverse any damage already done by bookworms.

   This spell creates a disembodied hand that cannot hold, grasp or carry, but can be commanded to touch objects. When it touches an object the hand searches for cracks, crevices or hidden latches that indicate secret doors or compartments. The hand will detect such things with a successful Search check, using the caster’s Search bonus with an additional +1 insight bonus. It can search a 10 ft. x 10 ft. square in 8 minutes (taking 20) When it finds such cracks, crevices, or hidden latches the hand will stop and point to the area of the secret door or compartment. The hand will not search out other secret doors once it has found one.

   Like the standard geas/quest spell, this custom spell can be used to place a magical command on a creature to carry out some service or to refrain from some action or course of activity, as desired by the caster. While the conditional geas/quest cannot compel a creature to kill itself or perform acts that would result in certain death, it can cause almost any other course of activity. The geased creature must follow the given instructions until geas is completed, no mater how long it takes.
   Unlike the standard geas/quest spell, this powerful enchantment cannot be broken by a dispel magic or remove curse spell, but can be ended by a miracle, wish, or limited wish spell. In addition, this spell contains a conditional component that will end the spell once that condition is satisfied. The condition must be stated when the spell is cast, and once the condition comes to pass, the spell ends with no further effect.
   If the geased creature fails to carry out the stated command, he/she will suffer considerable damage each day, as well as endure debilitating loss of physical and mental facilities until he/she complies.

   This illusion spell allows the caster to try to take over control of an illusionary (figment) spell of 4th level or lower cast by another. If the caster of the targeted spell fails at a Will save, then the illusion now comes under the control of the caster of the master image spell. The illusion is infused with material from the Plane of Shadow to give it quasi-real form and function. The illusion now has the properties of a shadow conjuration spell in terms of the image properties. The duration of the shadowed figments are twice the duration times of the original spell. For example a major image spell has been taken over, the original duration was concentration + 3 rounds, the new duration is concentration + 6 rounds. The shadowed image can be dispelled, at the original caster’s level, but disbelieving the effect is against the new caster’s level.

   A magical plane of force explodes in a 30’ radius burst knocking creatures from their feet, but causing no damage to them. Creatures within the plane of the force effect that fail a reflex save are knocked prone. Otiluke’s concussive burst is not effective against creatures larger than large size. Large size creatures, creatures with more than two legs and those with a stability bonus gain a +4 circumstance modifier to their save.
   Material Component: A coin or metal disk inscribed with arrows pointing outward.

   This spell allows you to inscribe any paragraph of text onto an object. While not limited in height or number of characters, it must all fit within the area of effect. The writing can be visible or invisible. You can etch the marker upon any substance (even stone and metal) without harm to the material upon which the marker is placed. If an invisible marker is made, a detect magic spell causes it to glow and become visible to all (though not necessarily understandable). The mark can be dispelled, but it cannot be removed. Attempts to move the marker or tamper with in (such as by casting erase or a failed dispel magic) result in the text changing to an alternate color, must often red.
   If cast on a living creature, normal wear causes it to fade within a month.

   Upon the casting of this spell, complete silence prevails in the affected area. All sound is stopped: Conversation is impossible, spells with verbal components cannot be cast, and no noise whatsoever issues from, enters, or passes through the area. The spell is centered on a creature, and the effect then radiates from the creature and moves as it moves. Items in a creature’s possession or magic items that emit sound receive the benefits of saves and spell resistance, but unattended objects and points in space do not. This spell provides a defense against sonic or language-based attacks.

   This spell summons a rust monster to aid the caster. Once this spell is cast, the creature appears immediately and acts on your behalf. If you can communicate with the rust monster, you may command it specifically. Otherwise, it determines its own actions.
   This spell can be dangerous. Heavily armored summoners are not encouraged to cast this spell. Any friends or allies of the summoner wearing excessive metal are advised to stand far away while this spell is being cast. Unlike standard summoning spells, the rust monsters conjured by this spell may not be dismissed before the duration of the spell expires. They will, however, disappear when the spells end.
   Rust monsters are notoriously ravenous, and will consume any large metal objects in the area. Since they are not commonly summoned creatures, but already exist naturally on the Material Plane, they are difficult to control. Before summoning, one must… (text ends)

   This spell acts in all ways like the Summon Monster spell from the Player’s Handbook, except that it summons unseelie monsters. Unseelie monsters are normal animals with a fiendish template upon them.

   This spell summons a very realistic shadow facsimile of a creature or creatures native to this plane (typically an animal, beast, giant, humanoid, or monstrous humanoid). It appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. If you can communicate with the creature, you can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.
   The spell conjures one or more creatures whose total CR will not exceed 4. You choose which kind of creature(s) to summon, and you can change that choice each time you cast the spell.
   A training monster cannot use spell-like or supernatural abilities, nor can it cast spells of any kind. Creatures cannot be summoned into an environment that cannot support them.
   Training monsters are real, not figments. They are tactile, yet composed of shadow, therefore they act as normal creatures in every way except as follows. Any attack from them that causes damage will only be 20% normal damage, with the rest being subdual. Divide each amount of damage by five, rounding down, to a minimum of one real point. The remaining damage is nonlethal. Anyone who asks can make a Heal Check DC 15 to notice some damage is nonlethal. Any ability drain or damage will all be temporary, will never reduce a characteristic below 1, and will disappear when the spell ends.
   Material Component: A tiny bag containing a miniature representation or representations of the summoned monster(s).
