Could also just be someone with a lousy taste in crooked friends.

Do you have a separate room where you could lock up your possessions?

Kind of.  I have a separate room, but the door doesn't have a lock on it.  Nearby hardware stores don't have one in stock that matches the rest of the doors in the house, so I ordered one online.  Should be here by Tuesday (assuming that package doesn't go mysteriously missing as well @.@)

The reason I'm suspicious of the reality of the friend is because of the missing package, actually.  According to the tracking information it was delivered at noon on Friday, and he claims his friends all went home Thursday night.
Plus the whole way he acted about the package is kind of off.  I had ordered a hard drive off newegg, and was willing to believe that someone had just grabbed it off the porch - Newegg is notorious for putting their name all over their boxes, and people know newegg = computer parts = valuable.  But he insisted on "looking in to it" to "make it up to me" for bringing a thief in to the house.  I sent him a link to the product, and he said he'd talk to a different friend who "knows about computers" who might have something similar he'd be willing to part with.  And wouldn't you know it, his friend has the exact model number that I lost, new in box.

I can't decide if I want to press the issue with him, or play along that it's his friend doing it and just be glad that at least some of my stuff is back.

Things like that are why I don't live with people that I don't fully trust.  (Luckily I can afford to stick with that.)

Boss is supposedly mocking me for being a disabled worker now.  She invited her uncouth redneck friend to take a job on post, and said 'friend' is spilling all her secrets including that she "thinks with her pussy instead of her brain".  I have the feeling this will end in fire.

My new minimum wage job has a company policy that prevents sitting at ANY point during a shift, via a loophole that goes as follows:

"In addition to normal duties, all employees are to actively search for areas that can be cleaned whenever they would otherwise be idle"

Half of the goddamn staff walks with canes. They took away the folding chair yesterday.

IANAL, but I am pretty sure that violates ADA/OSHA if you have anything in writing from a doctor about your inability to stand for too long. There is an ADA info-line that might be helpful to find out: https://www.ada.gov/infoline.htm

So back am i

With my grip on depression waning away...

So from the time i was gone until now i tried and failed to kill myself, again, by missing the braquial artery

So there was a lot of blood not enough blood to make me keel over

then i got better

i got better and i got a girlfriend

and i thought yeay

yeah

but no

Shit completely out of my control keeps fucking my relationship

so i noped out of every social media

but still shit happens

and i can't deal

so now i am on 20mg Zolpidem (snorted), With some happy fun times prepared for when the effects really kick in full force
maybe mix it in with some Trazodone
And even some amazing Desvenflaxacine

Yeah i'm going to abuse every prescription drug currently available in the house

Yeah i'm alive... I ended up doing almost 40mg, i blacked out and i was conscious for about 40 minutes - barely - sending all sorts of messed up messages to my girlfriend and friends. Apparently i was seeing spiders on the floor and crawling up on me. Seems fun...

In fact, i don't even remember posting this.

I'm actually glad i don't remember, from what everyone seems to say on the interwebz, hypnotics don't give out some of the best trips, they're almost always nightmarish and fucked up in nature.

Anyway... I ended up patching things up with girlfriend... I am currently seeing a therapist, but i'm still not really 100%. I am taking meds as well. They don't help as much as they should... I'm not doing drugs all the time, but i'm doing them often enough that it seems to be becoming a bit of an issue, sometimes...

From my end of things

What it seems like is... Everything i do ends up being sabotaged by something i have absolutely no control over. It's like i can't be happy, because there's this constant stream of shit being shot at random and at high velocities in my path, and i have to keep dodging all the shit but invariably some of the shit will hit me, and sometimes it's just so much shit that i can't seem to be able to see anything but shit in my path.

Having a girlfriend and being in good terms with her is something that helps a lot... But i feel like i'm leaning way too much into this relationship. I keep having this recurring thought that if it doesn't work now then it won't work ever, with anyone, and that's way too much to take on.

I just feel so fucked up right now...

Good to hear it just seems nastier than it is.

My father once stepped in a nail deep enough go through his shoe and inside his foot.
He didn't notice anything and kept playing in the basketaball game he was in.
Only realized he had a nail stuck to his foot when he arrived home and went to take off the shoe and saw all the blood.

So yeah it's quite possible to get a nasty foot injury and don't notice anything for quite a while.

I was barred from participating in a public medieval-themed event because of that shit where I got kicked out of a LARP a year ago.

In a public Facebook post, I was called out for "agressive behavior during swordplay" and "behaving inappropriately towards women".

Someone is SO getting sued.
