I don't see why they wouldn't. Since I have 4 essentia in them, they have a +4 enhancement bonus to hit and damage, same as a +4 weapon.

Alrighty thanks, I thought so. I've never played a Totemist though, so I didn't know about the essentia thing.

Didn't really right anything for kwah-yah, zulk, riek. I'm short on time and headed out to work, nothing really has changed for you guys though. Your still heading out of the market, successfully blending in with a crowd.

Would those attacking Alphonse get a miss chance? I'd initially wanted to use the illusion as concealment for our escape. It looks like mist. Then I added some figures in there as distractions.

Oh I guess I had figured that the mist was only a few feet high. I didn't realize you meant like an actual cloud rolling in, otherwise it would hamper visibility for everyone as well probably. Even if only a little bit..

Anyways yea ok sure, next time just let me know some vague dimensions your working with

Figured since I didn't use any negative modifiers to spot checks I would only make it a 20% miss chance. I only bothered rolling vs the three attacks that actually hit.

Not that it matters anyway since they all hit, but it seems like Silent Image giving a miss chance is a bit much balance wise. There'saalready a 1st level spell for that - obscuring mist - and it's far less versatile. Of course it does give much better concealment, so... Idk.

Yea since it was ranged, and also it was a good creative RPing use of the spell so I figured why not. Not like it mattered anyways

Having to concentrate on it makes it far less useful than obscuring mist for actually providing concealment during combat. And if I'd instead made an illusion of a wall or giant boulder, would that not give total concealment? How is this different?

Edit: hey sorry, my computer's been acting up so I've been having to post from my phone, ehich makes formatting difficult.

Combat wise, Alphonse is going to deal with Mr Daggers, then run away. So DNA1, would you be willing to roll me a single attack with the Fang? BAB + Str is 6, plus whateve modifiers the dagger has. I imagine something special is going to happen, so I'll leave the rest of my actions undeclared until that gets resolved.

none of the guards are standing next to you. the only one that was is the hunchback, and he is on the ground.

yes you can see the guards, although the mist is thick so a ranged attack will have a 20% miss chance.
