Most of you know me as BeholderSlayer from the previous board, but this was my handle at 339 and I decided to go back to it.
I don't know how many of you are sports fans, but a big man from NBA history passed away this week. More importantly to me, the man was my grandfather: Easy Ed Macauley. He meant the world to me, and was the best grandfather a person could ever ask for. A true man for others, nobody could ever ask for a better role model.
I am not asking for sympathy. He died for the love of his late wife; he did everything in his power to join her after she passed in May. He is with her now, and this is a time for celebration.
New York Times Article"When you are not practicing, remember, someone somewhere is practicing, and when you meet him he will win."
