So are we just supposed to respond with a fluff burb or are we rolling something like Persuasion in the attempt?

I did fail to call out suggested skills.

Perception
Persuasion
Deception
Use the Force

Could all be used is this.

Don't forget, I can assist as a free action one person with a limited selection of skills, so if you are trying to use something you may not have a great bonus with, see if I can lend an Aid Another onto it.

I'm not sure how to fluff a perception check.

You could be keeping an eye out for their reactions to what is being said since the race  is so very foreign to you.

If Rald can aid Persuasion, I feel this would be a good time to do so  :P

How long do you want to rest up for before setting out? Does Rald want to perform surgery or first aid in anyway before resting? Who will be carrying the charges that Vazus has provided?

Sorry, super busy this week out of nowhere :(
I'd prefer to heal everyone that I can, but surgery takes time, so it's largely up to how long the group wants to rest.

At level 2 didn't you take surgical expertise? that should reduce the 1 hour per try down to 10 minutes per.

Isn't there still a lengthy "recovery" time, though? Or am I thinking of something else.

I might be thinking of the total cyborg replacement rules or something, so who knows.

How much noise do the bikes exactly do?

From the movies it didn't seem all that much, and also we saw the imperial bike scouts before hearing them, so I'm not sure how big the danger of giving ourselves away is.

You heard them before you saw them. It was only a DC 10 Perception to hear them coming.

You have just killed Tuokool  :clap.

There seems to be some inconsistency in the rules in the skill description for Heal Damage and Perform Surgery. Under Perform Surgery it says if you fail by 5 or more then the  patient takes damage equal to it's damage threshold. Yet, under Heal Damage it simply says if you fail the patient takes damage equal to its DT.

So I think we go with the more specific rule and if you fail by 5 or more the patient takes damage. This way he doesn't die....for now.

So go ahead and try again on Tuokool. Remember he only has 11 HPs and his DT is 13 so it will kill him. Perhaps using a med pack to help stabilize him enough for surgery  :)

He could always spend a force point to auto stabilize.

Wow Perform Surgery is very underwhelming....CON bonus x level. That just sucks considering what we just changed med packs to multiple times a day. Since it is a statis DC for surgery, we should probably use something like CON Score is healed with each use of perform surgery. This makes it decent against med pack use and faster than full rests.

I was kicking around some recovery time rules after surgery but that would slow things down here.

True but I am saying we are going with the fail by 5 or more part fo the rule under the Perform Sugery. That way he is not killed yet.
