Heads up, Weapons are going to get a huge revision. It will probably come out this weekend or next week. Everyone's weapons right now should stay more or less intact, and may even improve a bit.

Actually, OSS weapons are still going to be a bit odd for the revision. We'll see what happens!

EDIT: Weapon errata has been pushed back, release TBD.

As far as jthurley's character goes, I'm going to go ahead and retcon that he was just a passenger having paid you to transport him to the station. Anything he did after that was his own business.

I hope you don't mind that I'm sort of just letting things play out. Part of this whole section is that I'm still developing campaign stuff in general, so this is all just a prologue to give you guys an idea of gameplay. Plus, I was hoping this game would be at least a little sandbox-like, being player-driven rather than just DM/Campaign-driven.

It's taking me a bit to wrap my mind around the fact that I can just make stuff up and have it be actual world history, but it isn't bad at all.

I'm curious to hear what Benedict has to do with our latest shipment of cargo. Unless this isn't a pre-established event, in which case I'm curious to find out what I'll come up with to link myself to it.

Noa's just concerned for him from a moral perspective.

I'm moving this week, so I probably won't get a lot of campaign stuff done. Just a head's up.

You're all waiting on me, and I apologize. As the above post states, I recently moved. I've been spending most of my time with my family or looking for a job, so I've had limited time online. I'll see if I can get things moving again soon.

Legend got another overhaul, and the weapon's system is very different (and cool).  Are we going to be using the new weapon system?  It'll be easy to convert to.

Summary: You choose whatever abilities work together to make whatever weapon you want.  All weapons do 1d6 base damage + KOM.

Since everyone's already switching over, and we still haven't started the game proper, I don't see why not. I'll look it over when I get a moment. I've got a pretty firm understanding of where to start things off, so I should get Chapter 1 posted soon.

Heh. I think I just sort of assumed we were switching and went ahead with it. My bad.

Alright, I'm switching now then.   :p

Venn, if my weapon has Guardian can I have my Blacksmith feat apply to it instead of a shield?

As the guy who wrote the weapon revision, and the guy piloting the clearing up of remaining collateral damage, setting aside my personal disdain for Blacksmith for a moment, I would strongly encourage it to be played that way. While magic shields still exist, mundane shields are basically Guardian now. Blacksmith is on the radar for a fix, but it'll be a bit before all the strays get addressed (there's a lot).

I know it will get addressed, I just took it because it fits my character thematically.   :p
