You see a different symbol on a silver chain around his neck (Spot -> 1d20+3 = 17), which is a hand holding an eye. You recognize it as the symbol of Vecna. Behind him is a woman with black hair and purple eyes. She is wearing a loose-fitting, dark red dress, and she has a dagger in her left hand.
