Totally didn't realize we were in front of the trading post.  For some reason, I had it in my head that this was happening on the road/during the night, and we still had another day or so before we got to Oleg's.
Sorry, Pencil.  It seems I'm having a hard time understanding your descriptions of what's going on.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

:( I am not a native speaker so there is obviously the language barrier but I will try to make it clearer in the future.

Normally I am double checking to make sure I am clear :/ Sorry.

btw.: How should we handle this when I should update?Should I wait till everybody wrote something to the situation or just update daily regardless?
I am pretty new to this pbp thing so I feel better asking how this is done.

Personally, I don't mind if you update it regardless of if I've posted for the situation. I'd give it probably a day and a half to two and then go a head and update. But someone else my feel different.

If that's what you decide, it shouldn't be hard for us to throw together a short "this is how our character should act if I don't post" paragraph.

Should I have made a separate set of rolls for each creature, instead of one roll for each skill? For future reference I mean.

Atm it was not necessary since they were different types and such. But still idc just stay consistent with your choice.

Okay, atm, I'll stick with making all three knowledge checks, just let me know if you need me to repeated a check(in the case of two with the same type) or make a different check(in the case of a type not covered by one of those three).

Cool with me.Just seems strange that with the 10+HD=Dc.Seems strange that you can`t identify a big boar.I mean the tusks are even on the picture.Reminds me of knowledge checks in general. -_-"

Yeah, I knew I failed the check the second I made it. I only needed a 13 assuming it hadn't advanced in hit dice. I guess, in the future, you could grant a small bonus for things that should be commonly known. But at this point, I can't really do much about it. Once I get some gold, I'd like to buy a few masterwork tools of knowledge. One for arcana, nature, dungeoneering, and the planes if we start finding outsiders.

I'm really sorry to tell that right now, but I do have some IRL troubles to cope with. I won't be able to commit to this rp anymore, I'm really sorry. At least, as it is the beginning, it won't provoke much troubles, I hope.

Now the question is left:Do you want another player? If so I will contact McPoyo since he was the next in the line.

Sorry to hear that Harald :-(  Hope you get things settled soon.

In the meantime, I'm totally unfamiliar with the Kingmake adventures - would we have trouble with encounters being 2 people short?  I'm totally OK with inviting another person if we need to.

If you are well optimized it should not be a problem. It is level 1 though so everything is pretty random. The adventure is proposed for 4-6 players and it is originally pathfinder so it should not be hard for well optimized 3.5 characters. But I dont know how well composed the party is and such so we just have to see I guess.
Since you are free to go everywhere it might end grim though.

Anyone think of anything it would be nice to have? Right now, besides hiding the bear traps right outside the gate, and pouring a few pints of oil on the ground and having Zsass light it on fire and entangle them in the flames, I can't think of much else. Hunting equipment should include bows and arrows I guess, so that would probably be an option too. We could probably throw caltrops in the area too, creating a sort of kill zone with the fire.

Might be able to scavenge some materials for a trap or two... spiked pits would be easy enough, and Windlost probably has some experience with Malay Mancatchers or snares.  Did Oleg mention how many bandits usually come?  If it's only one or two, we might not need so much preparation here.
