Class Fusillades
Text
  • Seedcasting: The Warcaster increases all casting features as if the character had gained a level in the appropriate class at each indicated level.
  • Fusillades: The Warcaster increases all martial fusillades as if the character had gained a level in the appropriate class at each indicated level.
  • Armoured Arcanist (Ex): Normally, armor of any type interferes with an arcane spellcaster’s gestures, which can cause his spells to fail (if those spells have somatic components). A Warcaster’s limited focus and specialized training, however, allows him to avoid arcane spell failure as long as he sticks to light armor and light shields. This training does not extend to medium or heavier armors, nor to heavy shields. Nor does this ability apply to spells gained from a different spellcasting class. At 3rd level it applies to medium armour.
  • Enhanced Blade (Ex): As a swift action and by paying as many spell points as necessary for the desired effect, the warcaster can apply a single seed effect to his weapon. All subsequent attacks with that weapon until the start of his next round apply the chosen seed effect on a successful attack. If there is a save required, calculate the DC as normal. This does not allow him to spend more spell points on an effect than his maximum points per spell. He cannot cast a spell in the same round as he uses this ability. Cost the other components of the spell as follows: casting time is standard, range is touch, and targeting is multi-touch. If a seed cannot choose any of these options, it is not a valid seed for this ability.
  • Blade Burst (Ex): When using his enhanced blade ability, if the warcaster successfully strikes his target, the seed effect affects the target, and everyone in a 5 ft. radius around the target.

Does that mean it's a good class?

I need to fiddle with the blade ability. It's not quite clear.

Doesn't feel too weak?

You cast a spell once and then bash everybody with it multiple times (assuming you hit). I think that's pretty good.
