Greetings
« on: February 07, 2012, 07:08:52 PM »
I'm glad to see that new boards have been constructed and I look forward to taking part in gaming discussions again!

I live in eastern US, trying to finish my PhD in Chemistry and play D&D/Pathfinder along the way! Though I don't have an extensive post history, I find myself coming back here to see the kinds of mad brilliance that give rise to D&D builds that are fun to behold (not always game usable, but hey, that's what thought experiments are about).

Or, you join a game specifically devoted to theoretical optimization.  Wheeee!

It's hard to get a group of 4 people together for a 6 hour game of 14th dimensional chess. Sometimes, they just want a sword fight.

Do you ever play 4-d tic-tac-toe?  that's pretty fun.
