So it occurs to me all the traditional sitcom teenagers mostly complain about their parents. I really don't know their language trend outside of waaaaaaaayyyyyy too much profanity.

She then shoves Aryk into one of ZERO's legs so she can climb out without Aryk being seen and wanders over to Mao in her more teenaged older looking form, "Does this form like, look as fat to you?" she asks. "Also, we should like, hang out together some time."

The scientists calm down at Mao's words. Maia's reply comes swiftly:
“Estimated time for accelerated cloning of the Esper to be completed is two minutes and thirty six seconds from now. Preparing the specialized containment cell to keep her in. I'll give you the codes of the nano-bombs and shock safeties once they're implanted properly on the new body before we wake her up. Oh, you want the planar stabilization system turned off as well? Will do.”
There's the sound of heavy machinery moving behind the walls, then Aryk's familiar starts glowing and grins:
”Thanks a lot tin head, without the disruptor I can leave this cage!”
And in less than a second, it becomes more and more transparent until it fully disappears.
So we'll have to murder it at some point.
Musings of the familyMain branch's head is Shinryu, both the current head and father of Bahamut and his siblings Tiamat, Leviathan, Bahamut, Serpion, & Fafnir. Tiamat currently holds favor, overly vicious and cruel. Like Bahamut times ten simply because she has the power to through her weight around. Leviathan is also a big bully and known to pull off big wins, but he likes to run off into deep space and while his prolonged absences will keep him from from ever becoming the head which ever brother has his favor would certainly pull more weight, he currently favors both Tiamat and Bahamut. Serpion was destroyed some years ago, probably foul play on Tiamat's part. Fafnir thought to opening oppose Leviathan and was beaten and humiliated so badly he committed suicide, at least so Tiamat claims whom found him.
Naturally there are branch families as well but only two remain. Kusariqqu, Lamashtu, Mushussu, Nidhogg, & Vouivre make up one of them, all siblings with no living parents and no real formal head. They are too busy fighting each other to make in real progress. But of them Nidhogg is one of Bahamut's allies and known supporter of the dark forces, very adept at Necromancy too. It's said Vouivre, a sand dragon, was reanimated by Nidhogg through not entirely in his control. Tiamat has naturally reached out to the other three brothers for support but plays them against each other to keep them weak and subservient. It is currently unknown if any of them have any children.
The other branch is headed by Yiazmat, his siblings are Dheed and the twins Aeronites & Aeros. Unlike the other branch family they are fairly united. Yiazmat obtained his place as the head fairly early thanks to his rebellious parents being killed by Shinryu. They openly oppose Tiamat and mostly get away with it because, to Tiamat, they don't present much of a threat. Leviathan has already made an agreement with them and Bahamut slept with the twins, something Dheed has to this day has never forgiven. Nepto came from this union and due to being classified as a bastard he has no claim to the throne. Behind the scenes Yiazmat was the puppeteer, figuring with Leviathan's pact & Bahamut's offspring he'd be better positioned against Tiamat. And he's not wrong, Bahamut would choose one of his own over his brother if the choice would ever happen. Through in order to rule the Helsiana family he'd need to reach an agreement or get rid of Bahamut which is something that is in no hurry to resolve since the day Shinryu no longer sits on the throne and Tiamat's skull is nothing more than a chalice won't be coming anytime soon.
Ultimately, picking order would be Shinryu, Tiamat, Leviathan, Yiazmat, Bahamut, Dheed, Aeros, Aeronites, Kusariqqu, Nidhogg, Mushussu, Vouivre, Lamashtu, & Nepto. As mentioned through none of the branch family can claim to be head of the Helsiana until the main branch is deceased and Shinryu has ruled for close to four thousand years and is still in his prime thanks to unknown magics. And of all of the competing dragons, only Leviathan knows how. And shortly after learning it, Leviathan decided to all but relinquish his claim and has since turned his attentions to finding
something out in the great unknown.
Obviously from a general stand point it seems like the entire Helsiana is some sort of
darkfriend. Those who know them however would claim that's inaccurate, they simply use what they can to pull ahead and they'd bind the dark forces with a collar and drag them to heel just as any other.
