"She must have been tainted by the dark side. A Jedi does not fall to romantic pursuits, and clearly this other Jedi she pursued led her down a dark path. I want to assure you that not all Jedi are like that, though I do not expect you to believe me. You have been through much pain, I am sure, and have put yourselves in grave danger. A dark Jedi is not to be trifled with, let alone one fueled by such emotions." Jerran contemplates a moment.

"I assume it is your daughter who is coming here, searching for your granddaughter. I am sorry to say this, but you will not be able to hide the girl forever. Besides their normal connection to the Force, a parent can have an exceptionally strong bond with their child through the Force. She is going to be able to sense her child and track her down almost anywhere. I will not try and convince you to leave the girl in our protection for it is not my place to do so, but you are most certainly going to have to form a better plan than running and hiding, especially on your own."

Consider how long you think you can out run her. You have few choices and I don't believe any of them are good. I will assist as much as I can, but you need to decide what you want  and what is best for the girl.

"I believe you are right, but we won't leave our grandchild in your care. We made that mistake once. It does look like we need your help though. Will you help us?" Gathan relents

"I will do everything in my power to help you, but you must know that we are in danger here. You must be ready to deal with some potentially very weighty consequences to these events. Now, we have a group of others, some which are skilled combatants, readying to leave this station. I will attempt to convince them to let you three come with us, so that we can better protect you. I fear, however, our confrontation may come sooner than our departure."

You are both fairly certain the presence can still feel the child in the force.

Jerran attempts to maintain a cool exterior, despite the extreme level of dread washing over him.

"We are currently based out of a ship preparing to depart. Several of our peers are currently embarked on a mission to another part of the station, but I do not believe they will be gone long. We should probably await their return at the ship. If we are discovered and the mother can not be turned from the dark side, will not be swayed, and initiates violence, it may be our more defensible position. Amon, your thoughts?"

I agree it is our best choice at the moment. Distance will soon be the best defense against your daughter. Though I will do whatever is needed to see your grandchild safely away from here.

Gathen and Naris look to each other exchanging deciding glances. "It's got to be safer for Zaris than standing out here." Naris says and Gathen adds "If your ship would have us, then we would be thankful for the lift off this station."

UTF (Hide Self): (1d20+5=10)
UTF (Hide child [aid another]): (1d20+5=8)
Stealth: (1d20=13)

If you will allow perception as on our previous trips through the station I'd prefer that.
Perception: (1d20+7=23)

ooc: seriously Invisible Castle I fucking hate you.

The first few minutes of crossing the station back to where the Banshee is docked is fairly uneventful. Jerran nearly blunders into a patrol of Imperial Stormtroopers but the Trandoshan's keener senses pick them up first and he is able to stop Jerran. Still the patrol begins to move to investigate.

"Why do you fear running into Imperial Patrols so much that we are taking side passages and staying to shadowy corners?" whispers Gathen, "Surely it can't be just on our account....unless they are already looking for you Jedi. I thought security was awfully tight when we boarded the station."

Down one passage the child, Zaris, begins wailing at the top of her lungs.

You both feel the dark presence in the force homing in on your location like it's piercing whatever veils you seem to have put up to conceal your and the child's impression on the force.

"Please, young one. I do not know why you are crying, but it is very dangerous to be doing so right now. Please, stop, if not for me then for your grandparents' sake."

As you step out onto another deck, the screaming child attracts the attention of a group of Stormtroopers who only seconds before were holding a holo-comm. The image of a woman's figure, cloaked, is instructing them as they nod their helmed heads before turning in your direction. A small probe droid floats nearby them projecting a holo of the likenesses of the two grandparents for the patrol of stormtroopers. Upon seeing these two in the flesh they begin to race toward you.
