The question is, did she send it or did someone else?

I could see either one with your workplace...

<Complaining about LoZ SP Edition's free handouts>
Personally, I think they should have just called it The Legend of Zelda: Millennial's Expectations.
I just have to say, you do know that any adult under 40 is a millenial don't you?
And so we are clear here. That is not an example antagonistic language, baiting, or any form of an intended insult using an incorrect definition of a word in order to imply it?

Correcting someone is not antagonizing someone, telling someone that they are full of crap is antagonizing someone.  Also, we've been over the fact that there is no generally accepted correct definition of the word so please just drop that shit

The fact that you don't seem to understand the difference between correcting someone and telling them that they're full of crap is why you have a reputation as being an asshole.

This may come as a bit of a shocker to you, but you have no idea what you're talking about.

This comes off as antagonistic, and it's how you phrase things all the time.

It's why people get into big fights with you more than they do with anyone else.

He has mod authority, that makes him a mod. He doesn't have mod under his name because he has a higher title (admin= mod+). It doesn't matter what it sounds like to you, the system classifies him as a mod and thus he is a mod.

Yes SorO, you were starting a fight with me. When you use deliberately antagonistic language it is a fight.

Arguing with you about things outside of homebrew or Char Op is always pointless.

Ranting at people isn't allowed in the rant thread.

That's new.

The mod would be Strat. He's a mod.

And the fact that you just start fights for fun and then drop them when you get bored would be the thing that I would have ranted about.  :P

Oh I know you were, it's not like we haven't gotten into spats like that before...

It probably wasn't actually ranting but it would have gotten there soon enough most likely.

I haven't actually looked at any of the stuff yet, I just saw a conversation about game design...

I've yelled at Strat enough times about how just because WotC wrote imbalanced stuff isn't justification for him copying their imbalance that it was instinctual.

Creating racial disparity because that's the way it has always been done isn't an excuse unless you genuinely want trap options all over the place (which I personally find to be bad design).

Because this is a public conversation and not PMs so just because you have a tendency to tell people they are full of shit when they say something that you disagree with doesn't mean that other people automatically agree with you and so I like having my point of view be known.

Also that has nothing to do with me saying that normal socializing doesn't involve finding loopholes in the terms that other people use to attack what they say.

Sorry, I don't look for loopholes in normal everyday conversations because that's not how normal socializing works.

I don't know anyone who considers 16 an adult under normal circumstances and normal circumstances are what should be considered because we were talking real life not TO.

That's sure as hell the truth.

I don't remember when exactly I started seriously posting over on 339 but the archived bg boards has posts from 10 years ago (with minimal digging) which would have put me in my early 20's. I could very well have started being a part of this community as a teenager.

Let's just agree teenagers are terrible people.

Can't agree, I know some decent teenagers.   :P

So I generalized and said adults under 40 instead of adults roughly 22-37.  Whoopdeedoo, generalization is the name of the game when there isn't a current accepted standard.  Saying that something "should" be a specific thing doesn't actually mean anything in terms of identifiation.  When I use the word adult I mean from a legal perspective, I have no idea why you would throw the age of 16 out there.  Also nobody in this thread is lumping middle-aged adults in the millennial category.

We both know that I don't care about your personal scale.

I always figured "millennial" was just a term for anybody who was born in or very close to the 2000's.

From a generational perspective being born in the 1980's is close to the 2000's.

Millenial is the generation that came after Gen X.
