Look, I'm being productive!

Ring of Runes is pricier than expected.

Onedrive documents are hard to search so I'm not sure if the oral tradition necklace is too much because I can't figure out what else you can do with the skill.

Everything else looks fine.

It's deliberately expensive because I don't really like giving runes away.

Oral Tradition allows casting 1st level divine spells (feat), Fascinate creatures (feat), be used in place of skill checks (class), and cast Knowledge or Oracle domain spell (class). So, not too much that should be gaming breaking if overboosted.

If you don't like giving feats away then why have the item at all?  Make people spend a feat on it.

Fair enough. I probably should remove the item.

If you don't then someone will use normal 3.5 item crafting shenanigans on it.  :p

Your hammer won't help when you release it into the wild.  :P

If people want to incorrectly interpret the WBL rules and break the game as a result, that's on them.  :P

The most useless class out there. WBL balance is based off of market value, so crafting something cheaply means precisely zilch.

The boards show that most DMs have a different interpretation of WBL.

They can, but then they're making the statement that WBL is a huge range, and that effectively +2 and +1 are the same.

Which is obviously crap.

Yes, because not giving a shit about something is forfeiting when it comes to internet arguments.   :rolleyes

Disagreeing with someone and then quitting because the discussion isn't going the desired direction?

Yeah, kinda is.

Yeah, kinda is.

So pointing out that people use item crafting shenanigans is disagreeing with you?  I call bullshit on that one.

No, pointing out they are legal is.

Nowhere does WotC say "Hey, 400% increase over Wealth by Level is totally okay and won't shatter game balance".

But if you want to be deluded enough to think that's totally okay, go right ahead.
