These are dark fold, specifically Dark Creepers.  Not much is known about them because unlike other shades which either were seen previously in deepest shafts or when the shroud expanded, these only recently appeared within the last five years.  The underdark is known to be a foul and twisted place which seems to be a warped reflection of the world on the surface.  This is why there are warped versions of elves (drow), dwarves (druegar) and other creatures.  As for the dark folk?  They are believed to be manifestations of warped humankind.

The smaller and more common dark folk, Dark Creepers, are craven and fanatical sentient shades who follow the whims of their taller kin with religious zeal.  They also smell terribly; they don't seem to change the rags they call clothes.

Be wary, dark creepers (perhaps dark folk in general) are consummate sneak attackers and poison users.  They are also sensitive, or even blinded by, bright light and as such they usually are cloaked in their Darkness SLAs.  It would fit with Aurelius' description about not getting surrounded.  Also, on death, Dark Creepers explode in a burst of bright light.

What you learned about the dark folk in general applies here, but they are leaders, not followers.  These are Dark Stalkers.  They are prideful beings who think nothing of their minions below them, and their minions never question the orders above them.  But they are no less craven nor dishonorable.  They can generate a Deeper Darkness than what you see currently, sneak attack even more effectively, and on death they erupt into spheres of burning flame.  Where light pulses are an annoyances, its death may kill your team if you're not careful.

An entire column of magicite!  Gray magicite specifically.  Magicite comes in various colors and impurities; purple is radioactive, green and blue tend to be stable, red seems to be associated with shades and haven't been synthesized, and gray is "neutral", either magicite fully expended or magicite yet to be charged.  It is the most common form and of little value on its own, but its still an impressive feat to have so much of it at once here in this tower.  Its clearly some kind of constructed building.

As before, but you know that the column isn't entirely uncharged magicite.  Looks like runes are carved all over it, probably to channel some energy from A to B.  Where is it channeling and what's being channeled?  Hell if you know, it's some sort of evil breakfast machine maybe.

The achaierai thanks you for not having a reach weapon and moves 50 ft in such a way as to avoid AoOs.  It can't fail the acrobatics check on the shallow slope.  In its new position it breaths smokes, hitting Akemi, Akemi's Horse, Axejack, Axejack's Horse, and Purple Creeper (protecting allies isn't in its contract!)
You all take

and a DC 15 Fort save vs Confusion!  You get a save each round to end, no duration otherwise.  This is a mind affecting poison effect.

Dark Stalker Locusta spends all his time working with these coffins.  He apparently isn't worried about the results of this battle.

The Violet Cloaked man activates an unknown ability of his rod.  Everyone make a Will save (DC 21).  Its effects are unknown, but if you fail one of the side effects is that you are shaken for 1 round as your mark burns and you briefly are granted visions similar to the dreams you've been having.
