This is the first Kickstarted I've ever backed. It's made by the guy who writes
d20monkey, a gaming webcomic. He and the co-creator have successfully delivered on a few other kickstarters, so I don't think there's substantial danger of them disappearing or the project being put on hiatus.
From what I've seen of it so far, the campaign setting
seems pretty awesome. He's been dropping tidbits of lore and stuff throughout the comic.
