Hey Raineh I just realized something.

Would you be more comfortable playing a Paladin of Freedom?

There wouldn't be much changed mechanics-wise.  And you might feel more comfortable.  What do you think?

... not really? They don't even make sense. And it doesn't really fit with the whole samurai theme.

I'm ok with the variant alignment paladins, what's opponent is their code, whatever that code is.

Maybe more ronin type?  I dunno, whatever comes to mind.  You'd know more.

Yeah maybe I made a roll or two, but there isn't really any more to say than what I attached to those rolls;

BUSTIN' DOWN A DOOR :p
Maybe note they were Strength checks -_-'
That's a lil' important.

Post is anyway.  When people are looking through the thread, they won't know to look in the dice roll thread.

Would you be more comfortable with one?

I've worked with rebuilding before, both very mild to very extreme, it's not a big problem and can always be worked around.

Why, I even have a reason for any deus ex machinas to occur right in the very room you're in.

Speaking of which, in general for everyone, is everyone keeping up?  Do I need to summarize recent events for anyone?

I think I'm covered. Ptem is in the process of committing suicide beginning a solo side quest.

I suffer under Lawful alignments. Extreme cases excepted (F/SN Archer in crossover RP's), I keep to restrictions terribly. Chaotic, or Evil. I do them better. Damn Paladins, having nice features but hard to enjoy.

*Tempts you with Paladins of Freedom*

I remember you said doing so would be "un-samurai-ish", but I think there is plenty of variation within the ranks to allow for it.  Sure, most samurai may be lawful-something, but then you have your Son Gokus (ok, not a samurai, work with me here) who don't quite fit in but whose build (monks in this case) are usually lawful-something.

I'll put it this way.  There is an (unannounced) NPC in this game you may meet up with from Jingu.  He's a samurai in a fairly high position of authority, but he is non-lawful.  That's all I can reveal about him though.

I cannot play a non-lawful samurai. The whole concept just implodes if I'm trying to do it.

Your alignment isn't a restriction on your personality. It is not difficult to be chaotically insane and Lawful. Lawful is simply following some rules set out by whatever organization is your peer.

Well here's a question.  What does (your character) want to do.  Ignore whatever samurai-esque rules there be.
