We're seasoned travelers to the wastes. Klau-Doth can spontaneously cast Endure Elements, and other things related to protecting himself and his allies from the elements. Although... the thought of burning three spell slots on it doesn't sound too appealing...
So... which is better? Endure Elements or Cloak of Shade? They seem to basically do the same thing... and he can cast both spontaneously from Priest of the Wastes. I guess since we actually are already in physical shade, that we'd have to use Endure Elements? Or does real shade stack with Cloak of Shade?
Anyway, once we notice that its getting hot to damage us, shouldn't we be given enough warning to apply protection to ourselves?
Edit: The mekillot's speed is 30. It's stats are listed in the WBL spoiler on his character post.
Edit2: If we douse ourselves in water, would that cool us off? Are there rules for that? Klau-Doth can also spontaneously cast Create Water, and I'd not feel as bad blowing orisons on keeping cool.
Edit3: How are we calculating hit points?... I guess I didn't notice before...
Edit4: Yes... I do have too much time on my hands today (and I'm procrastinating doing other things that I should be doing...)... I think perhaps we're better off to just shrug off the heat damage for now, and heal it up later when we (inevitably) take real damage, because of the "freebie" of also healing non-lethal when you heal lethal. Is there anything wrong with this plan? I'm not too familiar with the heatstroke rules, etc... Are we risking something that's
not easy to heal if we do as I've suggested?
