Sheerak is unaffected by the Tangling Threads, though she is disoriented by her foes quick retreat  Sheerak is currently at (0, 100, 10), and her foe is at (400, 400, 0) making them ~501 feet apart.  She shifts into her regenerative stance and  Flies quickly (runs) towards him through the air, ending her turn at (200,200,0).

since we don't have a map (I have no knowlege on how to make one), I am using (X, Y, Z) coordinates.  0,0,0 is the bottom left corner, on the ground.  the center of the excersize ground is at 200,200,0.  Anyone inclinded to make a map of this 400x400 space should feel free

Entangling Threads is a supernatural ability, so it doesn't check SR. Since shot two inflicts slow, shot 3 gains +3 damage and you gain -1 penalty to saves.

Sheerak, slowed by the threads, realizes how badly she has underestimated her foe, and makes a retreat to regroup and let this slowness wear off.  She slips into the Frightened Deer Stance (+30 to speed, +4 to saving throws, total concealment (50% miss chance)) and flies straight up, gainging 95 feet of height.

Satisfied that his sparring partner is keeping distance, Ptolemaeus decides to put more pressure on her, keeping up with his ranged attacks. This time, he concentrates his energies into his shots to deal more damage.

Sheerak takes the second hit to her leg, dealing 38 damage.  She feels the threads growing heavier on her as she keeps flying, maintaining her stance and the cover it provides, moving to 190 feet in the air.

Though it may be arbitrary, I am assuming that I can fly as high as I like and that's fine, but that if I use a Gate to travel out of the dojo, I forfeit the match.  Sound like a good guideline to you?  If there is a height or time barrier to flying up, I would have ducked into the wooded area for hiding, but I didn't want anyone to have to map out the trees or make up math for how much they help me hide or increase ranged miss chances (and While I couldn't hide as a Huge creature, I can shrink to medium (or small I think) at will).

Also, how is your "to hit" bonus so high?  I am seriously impressed.

And here's a breakdown for my to hit: +15 BAB + 11 Wis mod (Deadeye feat, wis mod to ranged attack) +9 from trait (half concentration ranks) + 3 from Hawk's Eye Stance + 3 from Falcon's Eye weapon enhancement + 1 weapon from enhancement bonus + 5 from Lockdown (Mana manipulation ability) + 3 from Entangling Threads.

Most of these bonuses work on my rifle/revolvers only though. My melee to hit is rather low.

Sheerak feels lucky to be alive and reasseses her situartion. The distance hasn't seemed to bother her foe, though he did just stop. Also, the reduced number of attacks suggests a more powerfull attack and/or a more powerful/slower weapon. She changes her strategy.

Sheerak shifts into the Surprising monkey stance and opens a portal directly beneath her to the plane of earth, facing [EDIT] down [END EDIT], 20 feet wide. She [EDIT]hovers above the portal, completely hidden from the sight of those below who only see that she has creaed a circle of floating roack witha  few pieces of gravvle tumbling down [END EDIT], recovering her strength.

I don't know what the back of a gate looks like, but I'm sure you can't shoot through it. If you can, let's aSsume Sheerak would have learned that when she learned to gate, and in that case she would have faced the portal down and kept hovering.

Hmm....actually, reading the Gate description, i'm unclear what the back of a gate looks like and what happens if you try to walk/shoot through the back of the gate...it indicates that you (the bullet) would not be teleported, so would maybe still hit me?  can you even see through one, since light coming from the "front" of the gate gets teleported through to the other dimention?

Ok, with you rapproval and to fix this, I am going to edit my above post.  It was nto impritant which way the gate faces, I just liked the idea of Sheerak sitting rather than hovering.  Then its clear, any bullet would get teleported to the other dimention (or hit rocks and just bounce down to teh ground harmlessly).  Sheerak would know if arrows can go throguh the back of a protal since she chas been able to make portals....this way my ignorance of the game mechanic won't affect our game.

Right, right, fair enough. I also cannot gather much from the description itself, so let's settle with that. It's just us anyway, we'll let MM deal with it when it happens in the outside world. 

Feeling lighter and more mobile, Ptolemaeus decides on what to do next. But as he focuses on Sheerak, there seems to be something beneath her. It does not take him long to recognize it. "A gate, huh? Well that's bothersome," he rambles to himself. Obviously he cannot hit her from where he is standing, and he does not have enough mana to take up into the air.

Curses. I wasted too much of my mana on useless magics. Now the temporal effects would be wearing off, he thinks to himself. Unable to do anything, Ptolemaeus stands and concentrates on recovering his mana and healing his wounds.

Use one Knowledge of the Threads that Bind to substitute for Spellcraft to know what spell is in effect under Sheerak. (12/14 left) And with a +37 bonus, he automatically knows what it is.

Ptolemaeus suddenly stops, and with a surge of mana, kicks straight up into the air, gaining altitude fast. In a split second, he is almost level with Sheerak. He is midway through his spin when he materializes something in his hands, fires a shot at the tiefling, and when he steadies himself, the weapon is nowhere to be seen again.
