"Until it catches up or the sun rises.  Stealth will be our friend as I doubt outrunning it will be possible.  We'll want cannons to face it along with some of the more...educated members of our profession."

After a brief discussion with Zephram you mount up and head for a nearby farm as the sun gets low in the sky.

"Keep your ears open, we'll hear it long before we see it.  If the next farm is inhabited, stand off a let them approach us."

who is zephram riding with?

Jimmy shakes his head, he's not volunteering for this one.

Wilfred volunteers, and offers him a drink.

The night time ride through the forest is quite stressful.   More than once you would swear you hear odd noises in the distance.  But at last you reach a clearing at the top of a hill.  Below you is a small farm.  There are several figures moving about in the yard.  You aren't sure what they are doing, but they are moving oddly.

Whispering to the group, but mostly to Jones, Harry breathes, "I have a bad feeling about this..."

close to midnight, you're way off up on  a hill looking down on the farm.  You're at teh upper end of musket range you feel.

"Protection? As in weapons?

I have a rifle, a pistol, a bow, and a saber. I really don't want to have to resort to the saber."

Jones: "Gentlemen I need you to pay attention to this."

He unslings his rifle and waits long moments before squeezing off a single shot.

Listen and willpower checks plz.
