Awesome! Looking forward to bouncing all over the map with telports and blasting enemies with eldritch power again.

Ok, here's a bit of compromise: Would you guys be against the notion of playing without a map while I sort out my mapmaking issues? It'll take a bit of reconfiguring to make certain distance-relative things work, but it would get everyone playing again for the time being.

I've already told you I can help you with the map and Roll20, but if that is how you prefer to GM, I'm up for it.

Maps are handy but I'm not going to require one.

It will make teleporting difficult but I would be happy to try. We will all just have to be very descriptive  :D

It was just a thought. Certainly it would be fairly difficult to do, particularly given the system. I like 4E quite a bit, but it's a pain to try and run as PbP without a good bit of investment. I've found that in running my 5E version of the campaign that most combat can be handled without the map, though it still helps.

So, are we going to give this a try without a map for a time as the previous idea suggested? Looks like it would be a new round and our goblin friend would be up next (if he is still truly around) and I believe we have rats to contend with.  :D

Also looks like we are all on roll20 too. I played around with it (from a GM perspective) and I think I still like my GIMP way for maps. Would like to see it in action for a game.

Scout, you GM 3 games there, is there a spectator view where I can check out one of your games going on?

I'm thinking roll20 may not work as intended for what we need. I'm sorry for the time, but it's something I'm still trying to fiddle with the logistics of.

Sure, but my games are in brazilian portuguese. If you don't mind the language barrier, I'm gonna have a game session this sunday at 2pm gmt-3. Send me a pm if you want to watch it.
But I play in an all english campaign. I could talk to my GM and see if he lets you watch our next game session which will happen next tuesday night.

Ah I did not know games are played at specific times on Roll20 as opposed to open all the time similar to PbP.

You can play as a PbP, but it was made to be real time.
Sunday gamehas been cancelled. I'm trying to build a one-shot, Space Combat game in Star Wars universe.

That is interesting. Wish I had the schedule where I could commit to a weekly game again. Between work and 4 kids any hope of a weekly game is gone for a while. I would like to see if I can catch one, so if I know I will be free at one of those times, I will let you know.

Will the Star Wars game be d6, d20 RPG, or saga ed.?
