archive of removed wotc website content
« on: November 09, 2011, 11:29:28 PM »
sometimes known as the nijineko's archive, it contains a copy of most everything that wotc has put up on the website relating to 3.x.

there are no d&d books in this archive, save for those the archivist (that's me) have been explicitly granted permission to include.

now available in torrent form.

find it here.

WTH? It's an .exe file, not a .torrent :(

???

EDIT: Nvm. Just have to click in "Get the Bundle Torrent" instead of the big flashing "Download Now" button.

heh. sorry about that. I just had my torrent client auto-create the link... it was probably trying to get you to down that particular client maybe?

i try to keep seeding it, but there does not seem to be many connections yet. they all seem to drop out around 70-90%, even though i am still seeding. =P

click the bundle torrent link, not the download now link.

i edited the link in the first post.

I'm stuck at 20% for the past three days (keeping PC on and program running 24/7). Any tips on getting this to work? I would love to have it in my files.

Cheers,
Necro

when i click on the link, i see a page with a big green button. IGNORE THE BUTTON. down below the button, you will see a link saying "bundle torrent". click on that. when i do so, it asks me to select which torrent client i want to use to open it. you can use the magnet link as well, if your client supports it.

I don't see that at all. When I click the link in Firefox I go to a blank page and immediately get a window titled "Launch Application." It then says "This links needs to be opened with an application." and gives me the options to select "uTorrent" or "Choose an Application". I also have a little checkbox labeled "Remember my choice for magnet links."

Choosing uTorrent launches it as expected, but the file it grabs is empty, no folders or files to be saved and listed alongside my other torrents it has no entry for size. Not 0 or -, just no entry at all.

Try a workaround of uploading it as a .txt file, which you rename after downloading.

here is one page where it is being tracked: http://www.demonoid.me/files/details/2777357/22730988/

might be easier to get the torrent file there for some.

The demonoid one has been removed.  Is it possible to still get this content?
