The REAL problem is that I'm in the last year of my PhD, and have such a ridiculous amount of work that I don't really have time at all for much else.  MM & I used to chat on the phone once or twice a week, which meant that coordinating combat happened on a much faster timescale, but that's happened much less recently. I was strongly considering shutting down this game like I shut down every other PbP I was involved with, but I had invested too much time & energy into it to want to walk away... I figured a cosmically slow pace was better than no pace at all...
And you should know about cosmically slow paces... :P

Joy to the world, a post has come!

…OK, the color commentator has posted, now it’s time for the play-by-play guy.

The very best of the season to you and your families/friends.

Sable –

I just posed the 17 second to-hit rolls for Sheerak0 and Sheerak9.

What’s the crit threat range for these attacks? There are going to be a few at least, maybe more.

Regardless of whether the Mariliths can actually get critted, IIRC there are special effects that click on if a crit range to-hit occurs. Gates open, correct? Or does that even require a crit?

Sheerak0 did this repeatedly, until the Forbiddance foreclosed the possibility. But there’s no Forbiddance here, that was the handiwork of Team Evil in the areas they fortified.

Thanks for the help!

"-Lady-Captain, we detect 20 hostile vessels against us,  and Erasmus Haarlock's Spear of Destiny ! What are your orders ?
-RAMMING SPEED !

final result : 6 slaughts vessels, 4 imperial frigates, 2 imperial cruisers destroyed. Haarlock sent into the warp. 0 losses. Flawless Victory.

Debatra, I did not forget your request, I was a bit busy with many things to do for Christmas before your character, and some pressing matters afterward.

Is this version ok ?

*snip*

From about the waist up, yeah. Looks good. The legs seem... odd. And what's that in/on the left hand?

IU can modify the legs, for the moments, not much on them.
On ou left or his left ? On our left, he is slowly  pulling out his sword from his scabbard, on our right nothing, the hand is empty, wearing gloves.

So... how's everyone doing?

In his left hand, it looks like there's something in/on his palm.

I'm doing well. The ground outside is covered in snow and coated with a sheath of ice, but I'm toasty warm inside. I hope things are well on your end :)

Doing fine as well : learning medieval fencing  currently. I've my own bastard sword, and trying to complete a set of armor now.

So, I've been working on another character for this game. (either "just in case" or just to switch at some later point) MM and SirP approved him some time ago; and although there are a few minor issues to sort out that I'd rather not go into here, he could also be brought out as-is.

Anyone interested in dueling either him or Halt while we wait?
