I may not have people jumping to join in (maybe my asshole persona proceeds me) but the lv4 thread was loaded up with NPCs for you to boss around. I'm up for continuing things as is until people join.

Hey SorO, I could join maybe the lvl4 party. Do you mind if I do a char reboot? There's other stuff I wanna try.

Would you be ok with an Architect build? I'd be starting at Nullblade 2/Thaumurai 2.

Yes, but with some minor changes.

Nullify is a Supernatural ability and initially only works on targeted Spells only rather than canceling area spells like a five levels early unlimited and overpowered and nearly action free Iron Heart Surge. And speaking of the action economy, using Nullify makes you forgo any AoOs the action would provoke (no matter of cancellation was successful or not), Touch of the Void is a level based check, Terminate is not a Saveless way to kill things and at level 10 the Nullblade doesn't become immune to every worthwhile status condition ever printed. I'm sure I know there is other stuff, but that's just what comes to mind after a quick skim through for names.

I've never looked at the Architect and really don't have the time now, but I can tell you now that the Architect's Unity of Purpose is outright banned with no questions asked.

It's just this game isn't running on a TO level and you're not fighting Pun-Pun. It'd be a little unfair for you to pack cold fission super devices when everyone else is using bows & arrows. I think you'll pick up what I'm laying down here. You have to trim the overpowered aspects of the homebrew to be more compatible with your other plays, and the apparent "laziness" of your DM wanting to use printed monsters rather than spending hours advancing and applying templates.

If it's too high-powered for this game,  I can just play something else.  Lemme look around.

OK, here are some other options, in order of priority. I'm not really interested in playing one of these with modifications, since it's not a real playtest, so don't hesitate to veto stuff that doesn't work for you.

Astronomer: Seems pretty confusing but not OP.
Dragonmage: Looks like a Sorcerer fix by adding a dozen abilities.
Sage: "5 Exaltation to gain access to her Awakened circle's numen, as per the Project Numen feat" Huh?
Ley Engineer: Also confusing, but suggestion on your homebrew. Stay away from Skill based Save DCs.

And updated, back around to you really.

I left things open for you guys to have a chance to place or use existing traps or even to fire at the monster encounters from cover. So if this round seems pointless, it's simply because I tried to allow for other play styles than charge em. Of course, there is no real way to make a Hide Check without bringing your own Cover/Concealment :p

Uhh... I meant to attack the dog (see post, I said flanking the dog). No big deal, though.  :P
