"We have no idea whether or not our target is the head of this particular organization. If it isn't, we have little to no leverage. Again, we need more information before we can decide to proceed. "

"The fact of the matter is that in order to gain access to this portal, we need to agree to off this Justicar. From the sound of it, he may be alone. If anyone shows up to investigate his death, we can state our case then. However, we don't have forever to argue about what to do. We have two things we know that we need to do, and that's Go Back in Time, and Kill a Temporal Justicar. If we were planning on getting these Time-Guardians involved at all, we could just go to them now and get them to send us back in time. Since Xuuvosic didn't bring that up, I assume that's a foregone option."

Xuuvosic laughs for quite a while then says "No. Definitely not an option. From what little information I have gathered, their organization is pretty much dedicated to preventing any and all time travel, especially that which might alter history in any significant way. So yeah... no."

"Hm. Feels like an obstacle to remove. Or corrupt." Raoul noted idly. "It's not something we have the time to organize though. Not by ourselves, not now.

Of course, we can always MAKE time eventually. But that's something to consider later. Right now, cap the Justicar's ass. Got it."

"So, now that that's out of the way, when do we leave, and where exactly are we meeting?"

"Still a... horrible idea." Ris-Janna frowns some more and licks her lips. "And, are... we already targeted?"

Xuuvosic replies "Well you're not dead yet, so probably not. But now that your memories of your previous life have been restored intact, I'd say it's only a matter of time. Dreams aren't as private as most people might imagine, obviously..."

"Then... no time to... waste." Ris-Janna pinches the back of her hand with an impassive expression. "How to... wake up and get... there?"

Xuuvosic says "We're in Cade's dream. So all he has to do is wake up, and the rest of us will be kicked out and also wake up. The temporal vortex will open up at a location looking like this, at exactly midday in Toril's Dalelands."

As he speaks, an image of a roiling, chaotic planescape swims into view. Boulders the size of mountains pop into existence and then wink out as quickly as they'd appeared, most of the time before they smash into each other. One noticeable one swims into view which looks like a giant swirling black and white whirlpool. I guess things like that are what passes for landmarks in Limbo...

"Make sure you're all there not long after, as it will only stay open for a few moments. But also make sure you don't disturb the guy who told us about it before he goes in. Otherwise we might generate some unwanted paradox..."

"Alright, I've got it. Everyone get up and get ready, looks like we're going to have to hit the ground running. Seems to be 'go-time' so to speak." Cade begins concentrating, trying to shake his mind from its slumber.

Cade awakens with the details of the dream still vivid in his head. Beside him lie the latest "I want to fuck the devil" groupies to climb into his bed. Mortal girls are so naive...

Inside the dreamworld, Cade suddenly disappears, and the rest of you immediately feel a bit queasy, and the ground begins to quake beneath your feet.

"Of all the rude..." Dwvar also disappears.

Marlowe lifts an eyebrow. "Ah, it must be time for Master Cade's morning repast." He vanishes as well.

Ris-Janna frowns and gives Raoul, the only other person left in the dream, the barest glance before unraveling like a piece of cloth that someone pulled the thread on.

Raoul, for his own part, clicks his shoes and repeats to himself, "There is no home like the whorehouse... there is no home like the whorehouse... there is no home like the whorehouse..."

As Cade wakes up, his mind is racing. He knows he has to get ready for a dangerous journey posthaste. First, though, he needs to dispose of his 'guests.' While they still sleep, he gathers their things,  loosely links all their hands together, and teleports everyone to where he picked them up, leaving them there regardless of whether or not they've yet awoken. He then returns to his room, and puts some pants on.

After dressing and collecting the equipment he usually goes into battle with, including his trusty twin swords Thalia and Melpomene, he goes looking for Marlowe.

Dwvar stirs, swimming under the sumptuous sheets of the unfamiliar bed.  At his thrashing, the room is illuminated by warm light, and the door opens to admit a beautiful young girl clad in the sheerest silk, nearly transparent.  She moves with incredible grace, stripping back the covers and helping Dwvar to the floor, then drops to her knees in a full kowtow.

"What is your pleasure, my lord?"  Her voice is a soft melody on the breeze.

Dwvar stares at her, scowling, then turns away and grabs his pack. "I hate this place."

He stumps off to find some ale and wait for Cade, not even sparing a backward glance.

Although there is quite an uproar in the common room at the inn when a naked devil abruptly appears with three naked girls, Cade makes a quick getaway back to his room before anyone has time to react.

Meanwhile back in the dream world, everyone manages to vanish quickly before they are flattened by any illusionary scenery.

When Cade opens the door to his chambers, Marlowe is standing outside it, holding a bottle of some murky black liquid on a fine silver tray. Two rapiers are strapped to his waist, their hilts gleaming on either side of his waistcoat.

"Ah, taken care of the guests, have we?" Marlowe offers Cade the bottle with a small smile. Tendrils of smoke are leaking out of the top around the cork.
