A Proposal for a Small Hadron Commonlider
« on: March 18, 2013, 12:44:01 AM »
To Build a Small Hadron Commonlider:

One requires:
Forty-Seven Commoners
Two Psions, Erudites, Ardents, or similar of at least third level capable of manifesting Bestow Power, henceforth called "The Assistants"
Two Psions, Erudites, Ardents, or similar of at least seventeenth level capable of manifesting Synchronicity, Affinity Field, and Metaconcert, henceforth called "The Conductors"

Assuming the following shape for Affinity Field's Twenty Foot Emanation, Centered on the Manifester:
(click to show/hide)

The Method:
The Conductors will stand forty feet apart from one another. The Assistants will stand adjacent to their Conductors, respectively.  The Conductors will then manifest Metaconcert, each with their respective Assisstant.  The Conductors will then manifest Affinity Field, with one square of overlap between them.  The Commoners will then arrange themselves along the outer edge of the Affinity Fields; one Commoner (henceforth "The Collider") will be standing in both Fields.  Two Commoners, one from each Field, standing adjacent to The Collider (henceforth "The Accelerators") will pass the items to be collided to the Commoner adjacent to them, away from The Collider.  Each Commoner in turn will pass the object from the Commoner preceding to the Commoner succeeding.  The Conductors will each manifest Synchronicity at such time as to ensure that each Commoner within their Affinity Field has sufficient actions to pass the object to be smashed - hence the Collider will have a standard action from both of them, allowing both objects to be passed on (to the Accelerators and beyond, maintaining the loop).  The Assistants and Metaconcert Entities, meanwhile, will use their Synchronicity-Standard Action to manifest Bestow Power, ensuring a steady flow of power points to the Conductors and maintaining the Commoners' standard actions.

When sufficient velocity has been achieved, the Collider will then collide the objects - this will allow for the study of the effects thereof.  Thus the mission of the Small Hadron Commonlider will be achieved.

 :lol

(but you're passing around RL objects larger than a Higgs)
Oops silly RL.

So this is a Ppoint loop + a Synchronicity action loop, yes?

Your codpiece is a mimic.

Yes, but the objects are composed of millions of hadrons (mostly baryons)!

With a little commoner railgun thrown in, yes.
