The piggy's nose begins twitching

It used Odor Sleuth:  It has identified Drifloon.

The pokeball strikes the Swinub and Engages.  The pokemon barely resists as the ball swiftly clicks shut.

While you catch your breath, your pokedexes inform you of what you just fought/caught.

your pokedexes Chime:

Beatrice:
Trapinch, Antlion pokemon:  Though slow, this pokemon is said to have a hidden power deep within.  Keep your fingers away from its mouth when it's hungry.  Grass moves will work well.

Period:
Clink, Gear pokemon:  This pokemon is popular for its ability to team up with others of its kind to become more powerful and even form complex machines.  Fire will take it down though.

Beatrice:  Swinub, furry pig pokemon:  Swinub prefer cool dark places.  Their noses are quite powerful, but their eyesight leaves a lot to be desired.  Keep away from fire

Period:  Solrock, Solar pokemon:  Said to be birthed from a meteorite that came too close to the sun, these mysterious pokemon float around caves as if they are looking for something.

Beatrice:  Aron, Pebble pokemon:  Though this pokemon seems small, it packs a mighty punch.  Just don't let it near ground type pokemon.

Period:  Geodude, rock pokemon:  This pokemon enjoys disguising itself as a normal rock and surprising trainers.

The cave seems to have gone quiet for the most part.  Nothing seems to be aggressing you anymore at least.

[Felix gains 35 EXP]
[Xavier gains 93 EXP]
[Drifloon gains 128 EXP]

Period: Well, that wasn't too bad... Ah!  Felix!

Period releases Felix from his pokeball.

Period: Felix, are you okay?  Gah, I don't have any healing potions...
Period: Beatrice, do you have any?

"Oh...no, I don't."  I pause.  "I...uh.  If we go back the way I came, there's a Pokémon Center..."

I turn back towards the cave's entrance and start leading the way.

You reach the door that you entered through.  You reach to open the door and it seems somewhat harder than last time.  You wrench back on it, and the door squeals open loudly.

Well...

That's something.

Before you is what you ASSUME was the shaft that you climbed down through.  But you can't see it with all the rocks and landslides that have completely caved in that entrance.
