Min/Max 3.x / Re: Flurry of Wands

Okay. I stand corrected, however, as far as I know, you still can't just blast a wand every time you hit with an attack, like he's trying to do. Also, my math was off before, my character has to use Empowered, Maximized, Violated, Energy Substituted Fireballs. He's not epic level, so his wands can't blast out 10th level spells.

To my understanding, to use a Wand, one must make a Use Magic Device Check to activate it, which is a Standard Action. You can do this with multiple wands (IE Dual Wand Wielder Feat) but that's as far as it goes. Even with the Wand Strike Feat, you can't keep going with it just because your BAB is awesome or you have a Flurry of Blows. The best I've come up with was through adopting a monster race with multiple sets of arms or through grafts or some such to increase the amounts of wands the character had in their off hands, then took Multiweapon Fighting and Dual Wand Weilder when they had the Craft Wand Feat. This character was, you likely guessed, an Artificer.By the time I was finished with him, he was a monster race with four arms and massive bonuses to UMD so he could spit out Twinned, Maximized, Energy Substituted, Violated Fireballs out of four wands per round, effectively blasting 8 spells in a turn. And with Wand Mastery, he could shoot them out with a damage of 9d6 maximized each.

Introduce Yourself / Totally that new guy

I just signed up. I'm a huge D&D fan. I got my start with 3.5 a few years ago and recently started in 5th Edition now that it's out. I'm a bit of a budding power gamer, but I end up using rules that many DMs don't allow because they're too obscure. Aside from that, I just enjoy building interesting, strong characters.
