...Just realized I have more posts on RoC than I do here. Odd.

Thinking about grabbing the Forbidden School feat and Immortal Smoke stuff. Tell me, what's our 'fire' power like?

Hey, I can do ranged! XD

But I was referring to literal firepower. As in, fire.

I don't think any one of us actually does fire, which is strange and a great disappointment, but then again we are teammonster and fire is more of a hero thing to do.

Hmm... search for Blazing Heart. Wait until nearer the end. The one with long white hair? That's who Immortal Smoke is based on.

I shall endeavour to correct the flame deficit (and isn't it wonderful I don't want to play with Nuclear fusion?) at the earliest opportunity. AKA: this afternoon.

Hmm that's cool, I could do two desert hand maneuvers once in an encounter, but that's all of my fire power

Got the sheet moved over and the site bookmarked. Hopefully I remember to check this forum regularly even though it's not the RoC one. Valixes should help keep me from falling off the radar or anything.

I'm ranged. And while I seem to be just about the most forgettable person in this play-group, SirP did officially put me in TM.

Damned tempting to use feats and whatnot to qualify my character for Vecna-blooded, just to make him just as easy to forget.

What's your character, again? :O

Hmm, so, Immortal Smoke: using any of its maneuvers costs max HP (and due to not needing to sleep, I can get 8 back per day), and the first stance...

Quote
Eternal Victim
Immortal Smoke (Stance)
Level: Eternal Royal 1
Initiation Action: Swift action
Target: you.
Duration:stance

Mortals who never age can't fit into the mortal world, so an Immortal Ash user is forced to live as a wanderer... Mortals usually can't survive alone, but she can't die. However, she still suffers from hunger if she doesn't eat and pain if she becomes injured.

While on this stance you cannot die and don't age and don't need to eat or drink anymore, but you cannot act while at negative HP, even if you would have an ability to reverse that. If you would be destroyed you instantly reform at -10 HP and your max HP is permanently reduced by 1. You're then completely knocked out until someone heals you or wait enough time for natural healing to get you back on your feet. If you know Impossible Request-Immortal Fire Bird, you can initiate it while on negative HP on this stance, but you stay at only 1 positive HP. This is the only action you can take while at negative HP on this stance, even if you know other maneuvers that would allow you to act when you normally couldn't.

Main benefit: my squishiness is offset by getting up when killed. @_@
Main downsides: can't use other stances whilst benefiting, if I have bad luck my max HP will plummet. Which could lead to the odd situation of having 1 Max HP (need to check if it can be reduced below that).

Also, going through wondrous items to work out something to replace that amulet (or, at least, the cost--I kind of like having dragon breath). Any suggestions?

I've got Burning Hands, Scorching Ray, and Fireball as SLA's with a few improvements from Pit Fiend.
So yes, if fire is needed, I will PROVIDE IT!

I'm planning to take an ability that either sets you on fire, or drops you out of reality for a bit. Also dying and bursting into flame. So there's a bit more fire. Next level: kick someone, create lava, potentially. XD

Oh sorry didn't know you were ranged, didn't really read your build since I thought it was unfinished...hope you can forgive me  :-\

I still haven't picked what element to use for Yan's monk side, but I think I'll leave fire out for once.

Maybe I'll use lightning instead. Or cold.

EDIT: Incidentally, should I dig up Yan's profile and cross-post it here, or...?

I've thought about switching a Wilder level for Commoner 1 and grabbing the Chicken Infested flaw.
