Comment on things that made you feel happy and/or awesome in this thread.

Today, I tried out Master Exploder and God Knows at my singing class.

Fucking aced it.  ;D

If/when I get access to a studio, I'll show it off to you guys.  ;)

Mixed results on the anime event I attended today. On one hand, the event itself was pretty cool and I met quite a lot of people there (got myself a few trinkets too. Mostly Katekyo Hitman Reborn rings).

On the other hand, a stupid rule not mentioned on their website kept me from participating in the karaoke contest.  >:( They wanted me to confirm I was going to be there... Two hours before the event itself. I was ASLEEP when that came up.

It's a shame I can't IHS stupidity.

Sky, Rain, Mist and Sun. Incidentally, Sky notwithstanding, those belong to my favorite Guardians. I couldn't find Cloud or Storm, and Thunder would have been so much cooler if not for the fact Lambo is a moron.

I'm a full member now!

Bummer that I don't really want to post very much in the BLYHT or M-Rated boards...

Also, I'm looking forward to picking out dinner. Tacos sounds good.

Finally moved out of my crappy apartment.  I'm now rooming with a friend of mine which is alleviating some of my money problems.  Also, I finally got the new Terry Pratchett book and have a nice long weekend with which to read it.
The DM giveth and the rogue taketh away.
I have a 5 in Charisma and Diplomacy is a cross-class skill.  Hopefully I don't piss off too many people.

Once again I win a masquerade contest (I seem to be making a habit of this).
I'm what's staring back from the abyss.
How come you guys never wave?

Please send me a PM if you give me kudos. I'm interested in what I'm doing right.

After 3.5 months of learning, 2 months of planning, and one month of building, my group's robot is complete, and came to a very nice victory in the class's sumo robot competition. We came in a close second in the main rounds, then snatched victory with a clean pair of wins in both free for all/king of the hill rounds. I was responsible for the coding, and I can't tell you how thrilling it was when we put it all together, fired it up, and saw it rolling around a couple of weeks ago. Most of the past week and a half have just been minor refinements and nervous waiting for the competition (plus writing all the documentation, reports, and exams also required in the course).

Christmas concert with the choir went really well and it's finally snowing (we're having the warmest winter in 40 years over here).

I finally got at least positive news about a perspective job. It isn't even an interview but my daughter's god father asked his boss if there were any openings coming up. His boss got in touch with me and said there wasn't anything now but would be soon and that they were very interested in my applying for the job. Guess it helps that my fried IMs me questions most days and his boss has seen how often I give good answers. So here is to hopefully having a job lined up before the ship finishes sinking here.  :cheers
