Toonces starts to stir alittle bit. She breathes heavily and twitches slightly. It appears as if she will wake rather soon.

"If you're going to interrogate that one, I think it must be now rather than later. She's waking up. We should be safe enough here, while the rat-men are preoccupied with their current battle."

I Agree.
Sheathing his pick, Red leans down and starts talking, as he's shaking the girl on the floor, (altering his voice slightly so it sounds a little lighter than his usual rumble):

Hey, you there, are you okay? Can you open your eyes? Can you tell me your name? He shakes her gently, but keep himself a bit back so she doesn't feel his scales right away.

Hmm... The Red Chateau should has sufficeint defences against scrying...
I don't think its really a good idea to "murder" toonces, she's likely just doing
mercenary work, and would just as soon help us if shown mercy, I'm sure.
Then again she does know me. In anycase it do well to discuss this in the relative saftey of my residence.

Coron hushes his companions as he watches the usually violent figure play the role of the supportive stranger. No emotion displays on his face, but it is still somewhat funny.

*cough cough* Toonces begins to twitch slightly. She groggily rears her head back and forth, her eyes keep opening and closing. She begins to rub on her eyes for a moment, then suddenly, as if she remembered what was going on before she passed out. She lets out a cat-like hiss before she spitefully begins talking " Ahh Velok you ass hole! They... al...most. " Her voice begins to trail off as she takes a whiff of the air, she goes quite and listens intently for a moment.
((looks like she is trying to figure out what exactly the situation is))

What's wrong? Do you understand me? Are you hurt? Can you remember your name? The voice seems soothing but uncalm as it bombards her with question, seeming worried.
Tiny fingers seem to inspect her for injuries.
I have limited understanding of magic, but it seems you've been blinded by something. What happened here?

Seeing her sniff, Thurl thinks to himself... Hmm... how refined is the sense of smell for catfolk?

He makes a throat-slitting motion with his hand to his own neck, points at Toonces, and then points at his nose.

Warily she fumbles around for something. After grasping for her ring among other things, she says  " Who are you? Wheres my friend and what happened to my belonging's?  " Her ears keep slightly twitching and changing directions. You can tell she is listening to her surroundings intently.

Thurl quietly draws a flask of acid from his potion belt, in case the tricky mage tries anything foolish.

Most people call me Red, if you could see the colour of my eyes, you would know why, I'm one of the clanless kobolds. I live down here. Red looks around at the others showing the sister sign for silence, and then the signs for she probably smelled you anyway though.
I heard fighting, and went to check it out, who of these are your friend? There's multiple bodies around, some of them look like they've been gnawed upon. Was your friend the one in the black and white robe? The bodies seem to have been looted, I went here to see what I could scavenge when I found you alive. And I might be a thief, but ol' Red is no murderer, espeicially not of you high folks, that would be dangerous.
Seeing her ears he continues:
Yeah I hear it as well, there seems to be something not far away, although I cannot see it, we should move, fast. It could be some of those ratmen, and I wouldn't want to be here if a tribe of them came.

Toonces shivers slightly, her head still bobbling back and forth trying to make sense of her surroundings. After a moment she extends her hand out in front of her. " I guess I dont have many options at the moment.. Lets go " She waits for you to help her up.

The small kobold extends the pommel of his pick as to guide her, saying: I'm not strong enough to help you up, and you wouldn't want me to touch you, living down here I'm probably carrying all manner of diseases that you mammals would die from.
Assuming she grasps the other end of the pick that 5 minutes ago were about to protrude her skull, he starts leading her towards the mansion, making the sister sign language for: What Now?

In an oddly common display, Coron hikes a finger; a general sign for "Move."

((Just in the other room is the entrance to Ezekeils chateau. Its kind of in a central area that has access to a few different tunnels, including the one leading to the 'complex' where you got your trinket. Further from there is where the other items would be located.))

Toonces takes the end of the cain in her hand and follows along.

((you guys just going to head back into the chateau? or..?))
