Veil enters with them, not paying much attention to what's around her.
Hmm.

Walks in carefree behind Malfrom wondering if he has been here before.

"Should we just yell and attract attention to get this over with or sneak around?"

Hmm... rather nice place although it would be better underwater.

All around there is the noise of a city sewer.  You can hear folk from the street above, particularly merchants calling their wares, but the voices are oddly distorted and echoey.  There are the subtle sounds of moving water, occasional drips, and the creak of overworked stone.

The 'bot looks up and to the left and says "Come out where we can clearly see you if you don't want to be char-broiled."

Then he points at the markings and says more quietly "Anyone know what that means?"

A hissing, gratingly high-pitched voice slithers out of the gloom -- and not from the direction of the glowing eyes.  "Why do you eekcome into our do'ekmain? Did we not payeek to be left alone?"

A pair of ratmen -- small, muscular, dirty, and wielding makeshift swords -- slink out of the marked tunnel, eyes glinting red.

"Terms subject to change without notice." a harsh whisper says from out of the darkness before the sound of an arrow flying can be heard.

Hmm.

The arrow buries itself in the chest of the closest ratman, who lets out a screech and falls unmoving to the ground.

Immediately the tunnels are filled with chittering screams and cries, echoing all over the place.

((Initiative! ...and marching order.  Tunnel is 10 feet wide.))

At Veil's quip, you hear the chuffing, rasping, wheezing sound coming from Breaker again, which you remember is what passes for laughter from him. He then takes a couple of steps forward to interpose himself between the incoming rat horde and the rest of the party. Then the chuffing becomes a hissing sound coming from inside him and you see the spikes covering his armored plating begin to glow red hot and then crackle into flames.

Initiative 24.

Tactic (on my go, assuming nothing major changes)
Taking a step forward he utters a word that seems to echo in his mouth and a faint almost smoke like line of azure follows his hand to Breaker before dancing across his body in several directions and fading away. Afterwards, Quigo draws a longsword, no two. They are in fact chained together, what kind of weapon is that? Holding it by the linking chain he spins both around, one of which emits smoke clouding the area that he stands in.

Calmly Latoris intoned a series of mystical syllables, calling into being a shield and a rune carved sword. The shield quickly faded from view, but the sword he snatched out of the air and readied himself to use it.

Malifium cursed under his breath and disappeared into a bit of shadow along the wall. One of his toothpicks flew thru the air from that spot, aimed at one of the ratmen.

Initiative of 15

Marching order is preferably in the middle somewhere. I'll wait for a few actions to resolve before I post my own.

I am at 26 initiative so I will delay down to 22 with my familiars.

Free action:
Come on Veil that's not how we do it.  Let us belittle them first before Rusty over there ventilates them.

"Why to take command there sparky, allow me to ruin their day." picking his range carefully and answering is own earlier question he seemingly underhand tosses an invisible softball down the hall. A loud crack, like the sound of thunder, is heard down the hall near the ratmen. Waves of air buffet the party as it's effect is discharged. "Lucky we're near the entrance, the sound can be mistaken for rain or even a collapsing building or something."

26Gogo
24Quigo
23Breaker, Quigo, Latoris
22Gogo & familiars
16Veil
15Drax

Gogo pauses, waiting for his familiars to catch up.

Quigo casts on Breaker, who charges himself up and readies to attack; Quigo casts again, and the other ratman falls to the ground.

Latoris summons a greatsword.

((Gogo is up.  I'll edit in a map ASAP.))

Veil looks for the farthest remaining active opponents within her vision and fires some shots. Opponents this weak did not require special tactics. The only thing that could save them from her arrows was pure, dumb luck.
