Links to other threads/posts within the saved threads still have the old "minmaxboards.com" links. Fortunately, it looks like the numbers in those links are the same in the new URLs, so a simple Find/Replace should work.
Just... You know, be cautious enough to avoid "daWizard".
The dead BG links (in Handbooks, etc)... I don't really know.
Example:
http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=399.0 - Dead link to the old 3.5e Handbook Index
http://minmaxforum.com/index.php?topic=399.0 - Link to current 3.5e Handbook Index (which is also full of dead MMB/BG links)

I remember there was an official post about it a bit back, even though I can't find it now. Stratovarius, Prime, and the rest of the fine folks maintaining the new boards these days set it up to automatically convert links from the old minmaxboards into links to the new minmaxforum site. Even though the BBCode has the old urls, it gets converted just fine into working links without any manual correction. For example, your dead link and revised link, if you actually click them, both go to the same place.
A few links are still broken, though. The minmaxboards version of the forum could link to a single post, loading only that post, rather than the entire page and just automatically scrolling down to the post. The new boards don't have that, so any links using that feature don't work right. They lead to the right page, at least, just not to the desired post within it.

Then that feature appears to be broken. I just clicked my "dead" link and found that it still tries to go to MMB.

Is it possible you're looking at a cached version?
-
It might be that you have disabled javascript, or that the script isn't loaded for you. IIRC, the staff post said something about the link conversion being javascript-based, rather than a behind-the-scenes server side change.

Just tried in a different browser, and it worked. I'm gonna try something. Back in a minute.
EDIT: Nope. Clearing my cache did nothing.

Which browser is having difficulty?
-
IE 11. Works on Chrome.

Prime is attempting to fix the issue. It also happens with Edge.
