Talk about out-of-game stuff, thoughts, planning, you know the drill.

You can, if you want.  I threw you together into the opening scene, so you could be research buddies at the bare minimum.

Hmm... Lawful or Chaotic... I know I had one in mind for the sake of it, but I can't remember which. :lmao

Also, I failed to spot the thread. Woops.

Well, it does help expain why you're hanging around with my character, since elves are automatically chaotic. Research the great unknowns of the universe. By stabbing things! :p

Should be able to make my "intro" post later today.

... should I have bought winter clothes? Are we somewhere cold/wintry? :lmao

Strictly speaking, by the rules I should be illiterate. Not sure how relevant that is, though. :rolleyes

Sadly the wrong century, but it's appearance-relevant enough. Except in some ways not.

It's really only cold in Vornheim, but I won't enforce winter exposure unless you do long-term travel in the snow hexes.

Are those 2 images what you're trying to decide for your character portrait?

Yeah, Saber there is the closest appearance. Well, more the first one.

So, if it's cold up here, could I just buy the winter gear if it's needed?

Certainly!  It won't be a factor in the Torith Forest or first dungeon, but might be later if you explore East Brendor's northern environs or spend days at a time in the wilderness.

Can I rip a blank page or two from my spellbook to go writing down a map when we arrive at the caverns? I have ink, but not extra paper.

Ditto. Though I'd rather use chalk for making a map--can I assume I had the good sense to get coloured chalk? XD

With that Charisma penalty?  She'll have a harder time than you.

Anyways, map's been updated in the "Rules & Setting" thread with Redstall added.
