Party coordination at its finest I see.

Welp, whats the distance then? From our group to beach group. And if separate, how far to pirate group?
Your party half is roughly  100 mu away from the locals and 150 mu away from Nei's pirates right now.

Mao is typically at the front. Eden is more of an observer so she stays more in the back, waiting for assignments or for the group to move on. She is in a tiny-sized mecha (huge).

Give me a specific distance please.  :p

Agreed. Updated my post to include combat actions. Not use exactly how that feat's space compression ability works, harder to be as precise as I'd wish to be without a map, though I think it could be fairly simple to line up those two points to squeeze two spirited biocreatures within her reach.
Yes, it will work to line them up.

Which reminds me, where is Eden supposed to be positioned relatively to Mao? Because I believe they must be out to use their own abilities.

Two questions:

Are the pirates leaving nonchalantly or hastily? And are they actually moving to leave? Because their retreat is my initiate signal.

Did Baha just initiate combat?
-Nonchalantly moving to leave until Hugo speaks, but his romantic declaration makes Nei pause (her reply to come later when I have time).
-Baha just buffing and even taking care to be discrete so not actually initiating combat.

Great work!

I'm going to say no to extra actions of any kind during a surprise round. The game's already rocket tag enough as it is.

Super Robot Wars d20 / Everywhere You Go school

And another placeholder for the combining mecha school I've meaning to do for years.

Super Robot Wars d20 / Monado Classes
« on: April 17, 2018, 07:21:18 AM »
Half-random Thoughts:

I know I said I didn't want to do a "on foot dudes can fight mecha" years ago, but after finishing the first Xenoblade Chronicles recently I feel like doing a bunch of classes based on that. Or maybe one class with multiple paths.

They would have a "Monado Vow" or something where they can never pilot mechas, although they can ride stuff piloted by others for transportation.

The classe(s) would copycat be inspired on Xenoblade Chronicles main members.

Monado Champion-Dude with energy sword that can extend to absurd ranges, also can throw buffs while hitting enemies. Also agile fighter with some maneuvers/sneak attack, kinda jack of all trades all around.

Monado Phalanx-Shield heavy armor dude. Super tough, specialized in taking hits meant for other. Can hit hard, but not as agile as Monado Heir.

Monado Medic-SNIPER HEALER! Can shoot people so hard it heals them and leaves them tougher than before. Divine casting with gun synergy.

Monado Ancient-Crippled veteran, worn down after years of fighting mechas but can still kick ass. Less fancy stuff but better at maneuvers.

Monado Mage-Magical girl Arcane caster that can also hit stuff hard with staves, casting elemental spells is rewarded with producing orbs that provide passive bonus to party.

Monado Maid Rebel-Was forced to become a cyborg after most of original body was destroyed by mecha. Probably gets super robot upgrades so basically miniature mecha, but smaller reactor means they can't keep going for long.

Before that, could you just point us to the firepit? If the crones are all in one place I believe it's best our group will talk to them first.

You are more correct than you think in guessing he saw something that his sanity could not handle, since this is not the first case like this we've met.

Those eyes of the dracolich, they are coming to this island tonight, and we are here to prevent you all end up like this poor sailor. Or worst.

You mentioned you are part of the ruling elder council. What would we need to do in order to gather all of the village's elders together so we can work together to prepare this village for the incoming danger? Since evacuation does not seem to be a possibilty with this weather, when night arrives every able bodied adult from Stormy By should be prepared to defend this island and everybody that cannot fight should be barricated inside their homes.

Ok, maneuvers are finally up! Probably still needs to be cleaned up around a bit but the core is all there now.

And yay, finally did the capstone!

Also added the ability for the Rod of Remorse to inflict Wrong tokens by writing in it.
