Sorry, been having massive problems sleeping lately which killed my motivation.  I'll be more responsive now.

Hooray for DR magic!

I'll try to remember to post my actions when I'm at home and have more than a phone to use.

Nope, but it can ignore Hardness & Damage Reduction by using Stone Dragon's Mountain Hammer.

Twisted will be pretty useless against Poes.

I meant the damage I took.   :P

It has a rider effect so it might be.

Is it magic damage?

I misread my own abilities because it's been so long.

I only used one Ice Power on the not-hobgoblin so it only has to save vs entangle once.

Freezaja is very displeased by this.  It oozes away from the threat, then lashes out with two tentacles at the one that had damaged it.

Sorry, this week has been crazy busy (and the heat isn't helping).  I should get a post up this weekend.

GRIDSCAPEā„¢ Peg Board Game Terrain (Funding ends July 1st) - This one is almost done but we still have a couple of days.  Cheap pieces that go into peg-board (like you hang tools on) to create dungeon terrain.  More expensive than just buying a mat but so much cheaper than Dwarven Forge or any of the big name fancy ones.

I'm still trying to decide how much money to drop into this but I'm excited about it.

So tonight we had to pitch our proposed business model in class. Teacher instructed us to make it "short and memorable".

But what's the business model?
Customized FTTX internet.
Marketing needs some work, try linking the advertisement to the product.  :P

US ads don't need that, why should Kuro?  :P

Nothing happens to you Raineh.

Okay, I'm going to help everyone out a little bit because things are slow because we're in the social part of the adventure.

All elders have now been identified by piecing together what you've been told and what some of you are dealing with.  Not everyone knows who is who, but if you've talked to any of these people you now know they are an elder:
 - Crones at the Firepit (count as a single elder for the purposes of talking to)
 - Warsh at the Landing
 - Ulberto at the Smokehouse

There are no other elders.  There is no way to fail the adventure without dying so don't feel like you're obligated to do anything.

Let's see, Steam sale RPG games with character creation that I own and enjoyed with an $8 budget:

 - Divine Divinity is $0.59, good old school game.  Play a fighter or a mage.  The rogue is gimped and everyone has the same skill trees so just don't play a rogue for any reason unless you want to screw yourself over.
 - Deus Ex (the original) doesn't have character creation but it a fun RPG for less than a buck.
 - The first two Witcher games are also super cheap but they aren't for everyone (and again no character creation).
 - All the Fallout games except the newest one are under your budget.
 - Mad Max doesn't have character creation but I enjoyed the hell out of that game so I'm just throwing it in because man it was fun.
 - I enjoyed all the Shadowrun games by Harebrained Studios and they're all less than $8.
 - Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines was fun.  I have no idea how well it stuck to the pen-and-paper game (and it has some bugs, fan patches help) but it's $5.

I'm mainly looking for a RPG with good character creation and 1st person view that's with in my budget of 8 dollars lol the reason why I listed bioshock was due to the setting

Bioshock is one of my favorite games of all time. It is a fucking amazing setting.

No character creation at all though.

Shadowrun Returns is free on humble bundle right now.

which has more role play attached to it the Mass effect series or Bioshock infinite? or is there another western rpg on sale (under 8 dollars) on steam?

Bioshock has no role-playing if by that you mean making decisions that affect the story.  It has a great story, I love the series (and you really should play the series if you're going to play it) but it's a railroady game.

On Infinite, at least play Bioshock 1 before you play Infinite.  You'll miss out on understanding some stuff if you don't.

Sounds like we're potentially a Ketaro and Soro away from good to go.
I'm floating around, it's just night shift week and such. The big thing is Ols wanted a character swap and so there is a bit and back and forth trying to lock in options.

Is this something that needs to be sorted out before we revive the game?

Nothing ever dies with ketaro around!

I'm all for it, I haven't gotten the metrossexual half-elf bard spooniness outta my system yet.
