Kinda half-asleep, but want to clarify some things.
So, I suppose this should be worked out now: is she, in all senses of the word, a god; or is god being treated as an extension of the 'Lunarians are disturbingly competent' thing? :p
Your character is a god. People worship her, and she gains power from her faith. She's also extremely competent. Most other lunarians however fall on the disturbingly competent field, since they can't be bothered to gather faith from the filthy vermin that crawl the earth. :p

Since by Touhou canon, they're basically the oldest sentient creatures and have a habit of being revered like gods. :lmao
Nitpick, but only one of them can claim to be the oldest, and that's because of her absurd knowledge on medicine. We know that before Kaguya, all other lunarians used to die of old age (that's why she was exiled to Earth, since she was the first lunarian to achieve immortality, which was considered forbidden).

Also again, lunarians that are revered as gods are pretty rare, because most live in complete isolation in the moon. Only those those few that actually enjoy a stay on the "impure" world now and then gather followings.

Personality-wise, I'm thinking my character is going to be kind of an odd mashup between Steven (the mad Irishman) from Braveheart and The Tick, with the capacity for a bit of naive trickery thrown in there.

The naive trickery will basically be him pretending to be a simpleton lame farmboy (which is pretty easy, since that's what he was growing up). He has an odd martial adept stance which really lets him excel at this, boosting his bluff and sense motive by +20 (but simultaneously reducing diplomacy and intimidate by the same amount). I'll basically roleplay him like Lenny from Mice and Men when he uses this.

So... unless someone else intervenes or suggests otherwise, he'll basically go blundering into most every encounter at full volume with all of the tact of a lumberjack wielding a 2x4. Unless he decides to "play dumb", in which case he'll go into his farmboy routine (and should probably take off his armor for it to really be effective :p).

I think that I've decided Bulwark only speaks in declarative sentences, never asking a question.  We'll see if I can pull this off, but it fits his personality.

I guess you're the backup for knowledge checks? :O

And more or less every other skill. :lmao

... hm, out of interest, what's the appropriate knowledge skill for Lunarians?

Is Tsukiyo going to respond to our greetings? Or ignore us along with the rest of the tainted peasants?  :lmao

I wonder if a 30 Know(Nature) is enough to realize that the Lunarian is here because she can't allow the oceans to be tainted. I'm going to go with yes..? If I'm wrong, someone tell me and I'll fix it.
