Osle, what have you tried using with Tweaker to solve these issues? Does the game simply crash for you, or is there something else?

I used the tweaker's "search for missing files" and "troubleshooting" and "search for errors" functions. The most common problem was not exactly crashing (although it happened sometimes) but rather the game simply failing to start.

so I learned that when you use an xbox one controller for playing FO4 on computer and it somehow put it as player 2, it will screw up your game as in make movements 5x faster than normal, skip parts of the in game menu and even cause entire parts of mods to disappear.

In other news, looks like Blizzard figured out how to make Vanilla WoW servers a thing.....

This looks like an antivirus thing. Failing that, it could be the old issue with PSO2 lifting user access permissions.

Tweaker should have a "fix file permissions" or something in its troubleshooting menu. If you can't find it, you can do it manually by navigating to the bin section of whatever folder you installed the game in, then right clicking on the PSO2 executable, then properties, then security, and altering your current user to have full write/read file permission.

I thank you for the advice, but sadly right now I don't have it installed and got several other nice games on my disk waiting to be finished. When I finish one of those I'll try your solution.

Dude sells his house to host SSB tournament?! :psyduck

Honestly there's loving a game, and then there's unhealthy obsession. I believe he has clearly crossed into the second part.

Yeah! That's a blast from the past! I used to play the hell out of that game... in 1992!  :lmao

Fun fact about SimAnt:  If you started a game then left it alone and did absolutely nothing, you'd end up winning basically all the time.  Would have to run the one we still have to test more thoroughly...

looks like EA is finally listening to the players....https://www.cnbc.com/2017/11/17/star-wars-battlefront-2-ea-scraps-in-game-purchases-for-now.html

And at least two countries are looking into loot boxes as a type of gambling http://www.telegraph.co.uk/gaming/news/belgian-dutch-authorities-investigating-loot-boxes-video-games/

Naturally EA says it's not gambling https://www.gamespot.com/articles/star-wars-battlefront-2s-loot-boxes-are-not-gambli/1100-6454998/

Maybe this will help turn a corner....

I want to believe so but alas I expect it to just be some smoke and mirrors. Loot boxes just make too much profit, and I can expect EA to discretly bring them back in the near future to SWBF after the hate cooled down, certainly under a new nicer name.

Just like we got "Creation Club" after the paid mods debacle. Totally not paid mods now, they're just game modifications you spend real money for!

EDIT: And EA are now preparing "Accelerated Experience" mode.

On better news, SC2 first campaign and ranked MP now free to play.

EDIT2: Also seems like Disney themselves called EA about the issue.

So today I finally got around to playing and finishing Full Throttle.

Until the credits rolled I had NO FUCKING IDEA Mark Hammill played Ripburger.

EA Fired Plants vs Zombies Creator for Refusing Microtransactions in Sequel

EDIT: Is it wrong that I kind of want some sort of congressional committee hearing regarding loot boxes, microtransactions and gambling?

This is the kind of crap that's why I still boycott EA.

NeverWinter Nights Enhanced Edition was announced yesterday.  Includes the two expansions, plus a couple of the more popular fan modules.  But the best part is they're promising backwards compatibility with all currently existing mods  :love

Looks like DICE might be EA's next sacrificial goat to get destroyed by the company ...

I have long forgotten which thing EA did to get me to start boycotting them years ago, but that doesn't really matter, as they find reasons every year or two (or multiple reasons this year alone) to keep that boycott alive and well.
