Nintendo mini-direct.

Remasters, remasters everywhere. Including Dark Souls. Link armor set and master sword to kill undead-demonic horrors, go!

Actually fine with that since at least half of those I didn't have the chance to play before. Hyrule Warriors switch will allow split screen play, nice!

Wait, actually new Kiryby game, yay!

And a new Mario Tennis but that's kinda of a given.

More indie 2d action-platformers. Never enuff indie 2d action-platformers (just finished Switch Shantae yesterday).

SNK Heroines is good to see coming to Switch too.

Nintendo Not Interested in Virtual Reality https://gamerant.com/nintendo-switch-virtual-reality-101/ and then in a couple of years they change their minds jsut like they did on the mobile space when they released Super Mario Run.

It makes sense. Nintendo had like, what, 30 years of being ahead in innovations for gaming? Let some one else take the reigns and do all the hard work for once so Nintendo can jump on the bandwagon once some one else has worked out the kinks :P

Nintendo already tried VR once. It was called Visual Boy. I do not blame them for wanting to keep a safe distance for now.

In particular when the whole thing is still super expensive and giving vomits.

Plus if Sega is any indication, being ahead of the curve is not all it's cracked up to be.

Nintendo Not Interested in Virtual Reality
Orly?

The article doesn't really offer any proof of that statement, just speculation, however.
He says Nintendo currently "studies" VR + will add VR to Switch once they figure out how users can play for hours without problems.

For those of you who are not aware of it already, the right joycon has a camera built into it just so they can handle motion tracking without requiring you to buy new hardware. Which also means when that article claimed Nintendo was the only console manufacturer without VR support it became fairly clear they were talking out of their rears.

And more than likely, since it's a hate site, it is intentional. You need to find a better website for your news.

any one know of an RPG that has a good story and character creation like Fo4 available on either xbox or steam?

Or steampunk without magic?

Lionheart Legacy of the Crusader has quite a detailed character creation with stats and skills and feats and traits and whatnot just like Fallout, story is alternate renaissance Earth where in the past the crusades ended up liberating magic and monsters in the world and so all humies (kinda) united to face them, however to use magic you need to bind with a monstrous spirit so yeah. First part of the game is quite rich, dropping you at Barcelona with plenty to explore where you can meet lots of historical figures, crazy amount of sidequests with multiple ways to tackle each and three main factions to join (Knights, mages, and NOBODY EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION!). Sadly the second part of the game was clearly rushed, but still the Barcelona part is worth playing imho.

Also quite old by now so if you want 12k 360 fps ultra HD not your best bet. :p

As part of some half-crazy new product. That's some top "didn't see that coming" Nintendo work. :psyduck

Trapped: Gamerant says Nintendo isn't making VR!
SorO: The hardware for it is built in and yes they are.
*three days later*
Nintendo: I'm going to blow your f'ing mind with a video about folding paper for VR peripherals.

I heard Nintendo was coming out with a new game. Labo or something, it's like Lego Mindstor meets origami except it doubles as some kind of virtual reality game too.  :D

No questions, no refusals, no excuses.
Just Play It.
Then grab the full version with like thirty characters, eighty stages, local/online multiplayer, and a bazillion fan-created stages off Steam. It'll be the most American thing you'll do this decade.

So I've had a sudden urge of nostalgia. See, about 3 computers ago I played a dota-style Warcraft 3 mode that I recall had the following:
-Lots of different creeps thrown from each base, including gunpowder cannons.
-Sometimes each lane would send a "hero creep", aka big model, superior stats and could even gain levels, going up pretty fast.
-Eventually a meteor drops in the middle of the lane and spawns a bunch of giant demons that start mowing the creeps in both directions and they too could gain levels I believe.
-Working AI.

But after 3 computer changes, I can't locate said mod anymore.

It's certainly a long shot, but maybe somebody around here knows this mod and can link it? :)
