Play D&D at MTGsalvation.com!
« on: December 21, 2011, 03:50:28 PM »
Hey y'all! I know some of you from the old boards frequent mtgsalvation.com (Including our moderator Sinfire Titan) and others know of it. We have a subforum called the Pen and Paper Inn for playing D&D and other roleplaying games. It has been slow for a long time, but I've recently been made World Project Leader (moderator without infraction stuff) and I've been doing some early spring cleaning!

We're looking to kick off new games and a new chapter on mtgsalvation, so I would absolutely love it if you checked us out next time you want to play some D&D play-by-post! You'll never want for a lack of games, for I am running a continuous drop-in/drop-out campaign, so you can roll in with your character whenever you like and hack some baddies up!

I'd really appreciate if you guys would check us out, pop in and say hi!  :) http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/forumdisplay.php?f=264

Didn't realize they had one there. I'll take a look around, see if I feel like joining up with something.

Do you allow homebrew in your drop in/out campaign?

Signed up as well.
Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics.  Even if you win, you're still retarded.

If it is reasonable. Usually I don't do homebrew, but I don't mind for this one as long as I can look at it first.

I just started it, so yeah.

I may have to register an account, so I can join your game. I'm a heavy homebrewer, but I typically balance toward the high end of Tier 4, or the low end of Tier 3, so I don't think you'd have much problem with my classes.

I'm considering trying to play this Ranger Revision, if that's okay with you.

How would you feel about a Hemopyrrhic Dwarf Bloodfire Seeker?

Here's an overview on the Ritual system.
In a normal campaign I wouldn't touch that system with a 12-foot pole. But seeing as how this ongoing campaign is optimal for testing stuff like this, I'll allow it. I know you a bit from the forums anyways, so I trust you not to try and garner unfair advantages over other players. The progression of bloodfire damage does make me a little leery, though  :P

It's not that much... at 10th level, it's 5d6 with a fort save for half... so an average with no save of 16 points extra damage.  And monster-wise, Fort saves are the highest pretty early on.

It's an augmented melee character, and I have no plans to be a charger, so I doubt it's anything you have to worry about.
