And yours.  And by advantage I mean getting through this without things going completely balls up or drawing you into the really bad shit."

Well, then I would advise against you killing anything at all. And watch your step as well. Wouldn't want you to squash a bug only for it to turn out it was the Abomination disguised.

Meanwhile is there any library or some sage around where we could try to learn who this abomination is? Just laying in wait won't do us any good. And I can make sure it stays dead after being killed.
