I pocket the baton while smiling at Tenebarum.

"You never need to apologize for laughing at...the Funnyman!"

Quote from: Internal Dialogue
You tried to punch Swiss Army Man because she was joking around.

...so?

You're saying you weren't upset?

Well, I didn't punch her, now did I?

...I...suppose so...

I was just being silly, James.  Do try to keep up.
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”

The sun sets on another [reasonably] peaceful day in the city.  After all, Bomb Voyage is little more than a strain on the taxpayers.  Roland returns to police HQ, where he will go into sleep mode after the pseudo-dangerous criminal is booked.

The four of you go your separate ways and back home, unaware that today is the first in a series of days that will come to change the face of Megalopolis.
Magic do what you will
