Unique can do little beyond the field without Ravage's assistance. She will wait, patiently biding her time. While it's rude to keep a lady waiting, Ravage has earned himself a reprieve.

Ravage gets very angry.  He glares at their captor while multiple changes happen to his frame.  He grows larger, towering over Unique as his "muscles" grow in a manner more than proportionate.  At the same time large claws grow from his hands, though they seem to be made more for digging than for attacking, and his mouth becomes filled with razor sharp fangs.  He then drops to the ground and burrows down under the wall of force, popping out on the other side and biting at Hynus.

Ravage snaps at Hynus, and his teeth grate on his skin, which is as tough as old leather, without doing any damage.

Then the mountain of a man moves away from the counter, swinging the sword back at Ravage.  ((What's Ravage's AC at this point?))

Hynus's swing goes quite wide, and for the first time the walking boulder shows some sort of emotion: consternation.

Ravage takes advantage of the opening left by Hynus' missed swing and attempts to get another bite in.  He immediately follows that up with a body slam.

Unique walks through the burrowed hole behind Ravage, making sure to stay well out of range of both the hoggish brute and her befriended Ravagey. A pet name, and nothing more. Freed from her confines, and with Cecelia well out of olfactory range, she went to her usual tactic.

Make friends.

The air around the brute was filled with the sweet scent of jasmine and honey. "There's no need for this." she said sweetly. "We can all be the best of friends..."

Ravage's attacks come nowhere close to hurting Hynus.  However, as Unique surfaces, the full effect of her pheromones hits everyone in the room.

Hynus's eyes glaze over, and he smiles at her (quite a gruesome sight).  "Pretty..." he rumbles.

((Ravage & Ceci have to make saves too, though it won't have much effect since they're pretty snowed over Unique as it is.  Note that it's a Will save, not Fort.  Either way, rolling a 2 didn't help Hynus in the least.  I have to remember to use Invisible Castle...))

(Since Unique would be up next in the initiative roster anyway)

"Shhhhh, there there. Underneath all that you're just a good man trying to make a living." she consoled, while walking..... actually more sashaying up towards Hynus. "You don't want to hurt me or my friends, now do you?" She paused, "Of course you don't."

"Ravage, dear. Keep a guard up, but I think my new friend... oh dear, I seem to have misplaced your name." she smiled up at Hynus. "Would you... tell me your name again dear?"

"Hynus... such a powerful name. Sounds like Your Highness." She all but poured the words out. "Why don't we let bygones be bygones, no one was hurt, and you go back behind your desk, and I'll see you around Carousel sometime, hmm?" she gave the slightest of pouts, like every moment apart would be torture.

"Oh, and if you see our little friend Worm again, just let him know that Unique and her friends are going to be looking forward to meeting him again real soon. You wouldn't happen to know where we can find him, usually, would you?" an eye flutter that would move a stone golem to write poetry followed.  "After all, he did... introduce us."

Hynus's heavily-ridged brow furrows, and you can almost hear the gears grinding as his overworked brain tries to process this information.

"Supposed to wait for the Boss," he ventures uncertainly.

"Oh, and here I thought you were the boss." she smiled up to him. "So big and strong." her hand trailed along his arm, ignoring the gross asymmetry of his form.

"Well then, if you aren't the boss, then who is?" she ventured, then gave a glance to Ravage and Cecilia.

Moving back to the main thread, this is no longer combat.  I mean, you could say it's verbal sparring, but that doesn't really count against a guy with quadriplegic language centers.

Ash held firm, as he focused his mind on protecting his body. His eyes flared, but the force now surrounding him gave no visual or audible sign of having snapped into place. Rifle up, with the accuracy crystal installed, he kept crouched and looked down the sights. He wasn't afraid of it coming to melee, personally - though he'd prefer it not come to that - though he was less certain of his companions ability to handle that situation, with the exception of Ravage. So he fired into the mist, at the doorway, and hoped that either the attackers lost valuable time entering and attacking, or that his crystal could do the job of punishing the vanguards.
