The balor stops for a second, and looks down at the little demon, and then grins and says "Oh, I'm in for the whole score. You don't recognize me, do you? You said you might not when we originally made our deal. No matter, even though I could just keep the damned thing, I know it would mean my permanent destruction. So I'll hand it off to you, as we agreed when you gave it to me.

Of course, I can't bring it here, lest its interaction with the damaged mythal might destroy this whole plane..."
As he says the last, his words trail off and looks thoughtful, almost whimsical for a moment. Then he continues "Nah... that could have consequences that even I might not want to live with." He grins again, and then finishes "So, ready to go get it?"

Xuuvosic absently holds the pit where it will be easy to re-enter. "I gave the package to you? What the fuck were those circumstances? Ya never know when spoilers will come in real useful."

"Well... you were the one who organized this invasion, and commanded me to lead it."

Xuuvosic laughs uproariously, tries to get himself under control, and bursts out again, his eyes tearing. "Well ain't that some shit. So yeah, lets go get the package. Sounds like fate is bending over and is due for a good cornholing."

"Very well. We'll teleport to here, then have to walk in to retrieve it." As he says here, he implants an image of a location into your mind. It is a torn, battered, and lifeless landscape, on the side of what appears to be a volcano. You can see the orange glow of lava from up the slope, and smoke clots the sky above it. The area around the peak looks to be completely barren for hundreds of miles. Then he vanishes.

After checking in the pit, Xuuvosic speaks whispers into the sending stones tied to those of Marlowe and RJ, "Lets get the fuck outta here."

After everyone else climbs into the pit, Xuuvosic teleports himself and his allies to the location sent mentally to him by El General. It looks every bit the blasted wasteland as it did in the mental image, and the air is hot and choked with the smell of noxious fumes. The balor is already walking up the steep slope, using his wings and claws to stabilize him.

After a long silence back inside the pit, Marlowe turns to Ris-Janna. "Is it just my imagination, or has something out there made it its only goal in life to send me to dirtier and dirtier locations?"

Ris-Janna returns a level look and a shrug to Marlowe. "Maybe you're going to get on someone's nerves... with your cleanliness so much that they'll go... back in time... just to make your suit dirty."

"Ris-Janna, don't give Raoul any ideas." Marlowe moves to brush some dirt off the hem of his cloak, catches himself, and with what is evidently a supreme act of will, leaves it.

"Usually... they bleed out." She gives Raoul a certain kind of Look, the kind that needs no description to identify it as fucking creepy. "Because they are the ones being stabbed."

Unfortunately, Raoul doesn't read the descriptions, because for some reason he smiles like he just saw a cute kitty mewling or something. "Ever found someone stabbity-proof?"

Ris-Janna smiles. "Plenty who... thought they were. Do you think... you are?"

Ris-Janna smiles. "Plenty who... thought they were. Do you think... you are?"

"I think you're rather stabbable yourself, sweetheart." He responded with a creepy smile.

"Yes, yes, we're all very nice pin cushions waiting to happen. Now, what are we doing here, and more specific, what are we doing?" Cade tries to break up the tension by focusing the group on the task at hand.
